« We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...

« Eden Estates was a bit hard to find but a great place for the night on our way to Krüger Park. All really nice, great kitchen, showers, beds. »

« The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning. »

« No privacy between the two houses. Wall at the splash pool next to double storey ready to fall. Kids had to be aware. Wooden railing leading to the balcony is unstable. Aircon too small to cool off the area. Double bed matrass uncomfortable. Fan downstairs did not work properly. »

« ABOMINABLE. I have attempted to communicate with you on this platform AND Facebook. The owner told us the property was unavailable because it was rented out on long lease. We had to find alternative accommodation. The owner claims to have tried to arrange our refund, to no avail. We have also tried to request a refund, also to no avail.You can read our story on your Facebook page and in Facebook Messenger. Your system needs to be less automated because quite frankly, it sucks. So, I am again...
