Blokhutten in Mayrhofen

'I am returning customer because I love how the hotel is situated. Mayrhofen is still a village but with many options to spend a day. The new garden of the hotel is amazing. I am sure I will revisit this hotel. '

'The 4 course evening meal was excellent; tasty, inventive and beautifully presented. The room was large and from the balcony one could hear cowbells in the evening and a rooster in the morning. And one can walk a short distance and board the gondola to the top of the mountain. '

'The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities.'

'The location is beautifully situated in the Zillergrund valley, with stunning views on the moutains. It is a hotel which is owned by the same family for more than a 100 years. The rooms are modern and very cosy, the facilities are perfect. The food is great as well and the staff is very welcoming. You feel at home straight away.'

'Het is een typisch Oostenrijks hotel. Met echt fantastisch personeel, super kamers en heerlijk eten! Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet en alle dagen een keuze menu voor het diner. Het hotel is op loop afstand van het centrum en is omgeven door heerlijke wandelroutes. Wij hebben er 10 heerlijke dagen gehad en als we weer in de buurt zijn gaan we zeker weer! '
