« Le seul commentaire mitigé sera attribué à la cuisine. La nourriture n'est pas vraiment à la hauteur du lieu. Ceci étant, cet hotel fut une très agréable surprise car le personnel et le lieu sont très agréables. La première impression fut teintée d'inquiétude car on ne s'attend pas à ce que l'hotel soit au milieu d'un quartier résidentiel, entouré de beaucoup d'autres maisons. Mais cela n'a aucun impact sur la qualité du séjour car en fait les parties principales de l'hotel donnent sur la...

« Very comfortable bed and helpful staff. Antique furniture in the room might be nice to look at but it’s not always comfortable to use. Would’ve been nice if there had been a couple of comfortable chairs in the room. Also, having only a small cafetière in the room means that it has to be cleaned out after each use. That includes disposing of coffee grinds. Where do you put them? »

« This was a very nice place to stay. I enjoyed the closed in patio area and the breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were neat and the area was safe and quiet. »

« Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return »

« It was great. Staff wonderful, food great communications excellent, only slight detraction was the room was a tiny bit tired and in the cottage across the road with a bit of a sticky window. However in general terms we live the whole experience and I can’t praise the staff enough. They were brilliant »
