'The cabin is architecturally unique in a gorgeous location on the river. It is extremely well maintained and equipped. There is nothing better after a day of hiking the North Cascades, than sitting by the river with a fire and a glass of wine. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back.'

'We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property.'

'This was an excellent property. It was quiet and secluded just as advertised. The hot tub was so clean, they even have sandals for you to walk down to the hot tub. There is a trail leading to a waterfall that is one of the prettiest trails we took on out trip. The host had a book that had information on everything in the cabin and of all the dining and hiking in the surrounding area. Wonderful stay! '
