Courchevel #8 is an affordably priced 2 bedroom plus a loft 2 bathroom standard unit with a private 2 car garage located one block from the ski lifts at Canyon Lodge. The unit sleeps up to six people. Childred WelcomeContactless check-in and check-out. This unit is a upper townhome style condo with 41 Exterior Stair Steps up to the front door. The upstairs bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom downstairs has a queen and the loft has two twins, Amenities include a fully equipped ...kitchen, microwave, free high speed internet, 50 inch flat screen TV and DVD. There are additional flat screen TVs in each bedroom.**DUE to snow damage to the chimney the fireplace is not operational and cannot be used Courchevel Management has not be able to give an estimate time of repair due to the age of the fireplace and parts availabilityThere are no addition cleaning fees when all check-out procedures are followed. Kitchen left clean, trash collected and unit left in a clean and orderly condition. There is a $120.00 plus tax fee for linens and sanitation after departure. We continue to follow all guidelines for cleaning. All linens including the blankets, comfortors and pillow shams are changed between guests. We use a UV germicidal light system in the unit after check out. Also utilizing an eletrostatic sanitization fogger with CDC approved Covid-19 disinfectant. All cleaning agents are CDC Covid-19 approved The Courchevel complex has an outdoor pool and BBQ area in the summer and two indoor hot tubs with coed sauna open year round. The communal coin operated laundry room is in the spa building. These ammenities may be closed depending upon Mono County's Covid-19 standings. During these times of Covid-19 Traveling to and from Courchevel and the area we cannot be held liable if you contract the virus on your vacation. Cancelltions must be made 21 days prior to arrival to receive a refund less a cancellation fee. We will not refund for extreme weather, road clousures and smoke from wildfires. Travel insurance is highly recommended!If there is another Health emergency and Mono County closes us to nightly rentals less than 21 days prior to your arrival we will not refund due to a shut down. We suggest you purchase travel insurance that covers such a shut down. We will allow you to reschedule when the restrictions are lifted. Fantastic stay. Courchevel 8 is perfectly located—easy walk to Canyon Lodge—and the garage parking was absolutely clutch during a snowstorm. The unit itself is clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with 2 bedrooms, a loft, and 2 bathrooms, which made it feel roomy and well laid out for a group.Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully set up. The only hiccup was my own mistake—I didn’t carefully review the PDF check-in instructions ahead of time. That said, a quick call cleared everything up and it was smooth sailing after that.Overall, a great space in a great location. Would absolutely stay here again.

The host was great and restocked some items as needed. Four stars because there is broken Washer/dryer and old TVs in the closets, the TV in the bedroom wasn't working and there was limited stations in the living room TV. Despite the above and the kitchen being a little outdated, we had a great time. The location is great as it's just a 5 minute walk to Canyon.

Greatest Ski Week Ever

You are paying for the prime location!!! Outstanding access to Canyon Lodge. Kids walked there on their own all week and came and went for lunches as they pleased. The stove and the fireplace need some tender loving care but again, you can't beat the location nor the water pressure!

My experience 1/29/22

Property was very clean. Location was fantastic, was walking distance from Canyon Lodge and a short drive from the Village. Having a 2 car garage was an excellent plus. Only downside was the spotty cell service and inconsistent internet we experienced - issues the property manager explained me were out of their control. I’d be hesitant to book again if I had to do work from the home, but would definitely book again if my intentions are just for vacation. Overall an excellent value for your money in Mammoth Lakes.

Condo needs work

Although we were happy to have a comfy bed in the master bedroom, the blinds did not work in the downstairs room. The tvs do not work in the bedrooms. The fireplace flue was not open and all the smoke came into the condo on our last night. They need to fix the fireplace problem. There was not proper instructions for the fireplace or the electric heaters. Wifi was spotty. Not enough trash bags given. There is no window to the outside on the main level. Unit 8 needs major updating. No hand soap in the kitchen and the pans are hardly usable.

As advertised

This place is great. Close to Canyon Lodge (can walk - I dropped off my kids in the morning and then walked up myself) and a nice quiet place. There is definitely nothing fancy here, but it is as advertised. Yes, an old couch, but who cares? The only thing I would add is a shovel in the garage. We got about a foot of snow and the garage was blocked in from snow falling off of roof. I had to kick the snow away with my boots to get the car out. No big deal, but a shovel would have made it a lot easier. Also, my kids loved the sleds I. The garage!

Everything was exactly as expected. Nothing too fancy, maybe a little outdated but we were there to ski not spend time indoors. Location is everything and the property was roomier than you would imagine. Will definitely book again.

Pleasantly surprised with the condo. Disappointed with Mammoth Lakes Accomodtion Service

The condo was clean, in a great location and was nicer than the pictures. There was a light out and the front right burner on the stove didn’t work, but those were the only complaints regarding the condo. I appreciated the firewood and sleds that were available. Overall I would stay here again. One comment to the owners and any renters, the management company was underwhelming. We called about getting an HDMI cable. There were rude and did not help. They also told us the Courchevel condos did not have an office. Against the management companies advice I walked to the Courchevel front office and found they were helpful and very pleasant. Thank you Dale! You made movie night possible!!

Good location. A dark unit in rather poor condition.

There are good and bad aspects to this property. First the good: - the location is within fairly easy walking distance of the Canyon Lodge and lifts. - there is a two car garage. - it can sleep 6-8 people - large flat screen TVs in the living room and 2 bedrooms. - the kitchen appliances are okay, but the ice machine in the refrigerator did not work. The bad (or not very good): - overall the unit has been sadly neglected and needs an upgrade. - it is a dark condo with not much of a view, which can't be helped. The best light is in the master bedroom. - the long flight of stairs will be a challenge for people with disabilities. - the shag carpet needs to be replaced. - the couch needs to be replaced. - the kitchen linoleum tile needs to be replaced. - the kitchen is lacking some basic implements and the dishware, pots and pans need upgrading or replacing. There were only three place mats. - the lighting in the living room and the bedrooms needs to be upgraded.Several ceiling lights did not go on. - for a large group, more living room chairs need to be added. To the owner: - your cleaning crew is not doing a good job, particularly in the kitchen.

Nice location, however...

The location, rate and two car garage are nice, however the unit itself needs to be updated. We are thankful that we accidentally brought a double blow up mattress instead of a twin because there were springs and wires sticking out of the pull-out sofa. The weather was on the warmer side and there was only one screen present in the entire condo. We luckily found a second on the floor on the enclosed balcony, but it was constantly stuffy and warm on the second floor. I feel it is also important to be aware that there are four flights of stairs to climb to reach the front door. Not so convenient when you have to carry a lot of baggage up.

Great location with cozy atmosphere!

Our stay here was great! We drove up from San Diego and got in around midnight. It was super easy to get into the condo and the garage was clutch! The place was clean and cozy. We skied all weekend and the walk to Canyon Lodge was pretty short and easy...even on sore legs. We chose to eat at the Austria Hof restaurant about a 5 min walk away, but it looked like there was convenient (hourly) transportation from Canyon Lodge to the Village. We would definitely stay here again!

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY TREMENDOUSLY!

The condo was set up for vacations. And true to the description there were three flat screen tv's in the condo. It has a large dining table that seats 8, and we surly used that. Extra blankets in the down stairs Queen bedroom closet. Both floors had a shower/tub bathroom. This unit does sleep 8 very comfortably. Plenty of hangers. The fridge was new and large. Plenty of plates, dishes, silverware, cooking pots, etc. We were also able to use the overhanging counter to sit and eat. The back room off the main floor was wonderful for storage. We had a terrific cross breeze when we opened the door and keep the slider door/screen open. The best part about this unit was the garage. We had come down for the MX races and it was wonderful to store our MX bikes without fear of them being stolen or broken by bears. This unit is right off the main road, walking distance to a pool and rec.room. Plus trash was easily accessible. There are a number of stairs to get to this unit. But we look forward to staying here again next year. Very quiet, didn't hear any road noise.
