'Lovely stay at Kingscroft hotel, very peaceful location, check in was quick greeted by Wol on arrival ( such a lovely host) & taken to our room which was clean, big & exceptionally clean. Lots of extras including plenty of towels, toiletries, hairdryer, tea/coffee & biscuits. Bed was very comfy & bathroom was modern with great shower.
10 minutes to walk to centre of Buxton
Breakfast , we aren’t vegetarian but my goodness we didn’t miss the usual bacon/ sausages! It was large excellently...

'I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was very dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. There were noticeable yellow stains on the wall next to the toilet in the bathroom, which was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the bedding was unhygienic and didn't feel clean at all. I definitely would not recommend staying here.'

'Simply superb, beautiful house lovely spacious rooms and an excellent cooked to order breakfast. Charming host and staff. Cannot be faulted and.....staggering distance from 2 pubs, one gastro - great food - the other a good local with decent ale (when you get them to pour it the proper way and not as Northern idiots want it, like keg).'
