'Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult.'

'We loved our stay in Crafters West. Julie was terrific - always responsive and never intrusive. The cottage was private, extremely comfortable and with adorable touches that made it very enjoyable. 'What a beautiful setting and property. It was a chilly weekend, but the wood fire inside was fabulous. Looking out over the hills and dam with alpacas, sheep and kangaroos nearby grazing. Lovely and quiet and property had everything we needed with thoughtful touches such as chocolate and bubbly for our arrival. Beds super comfy and location was very convenient between Macclesfield and meadows. Highly recommend this place. '

'Theres really nothing to dislike about this property. The fact that there are no houses for sale for quite a large radius says it all. We would not hesitate to stay in this beautiful home again in the future. Will highly recommend to family and friends and anyone heading to this stunning part of the country. '
