The lodge features a large open plan living area with Lounge/Dining area and Kitchen.

The Lounge area has 2 comfortable leather sofas. Entertainment comprises 42" TV and internet access via the lodges own private WIFI.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including Oven, microwave, fridge freezer and perhaps most importantly dishwasher and washer dryer!

There are 3 double bedrooms in the lodge. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with on suite (toilet and shower room), Bedrooms 2 & 3 each have 2 x single beds.

The lodge also has a family bathroom with toilet, bath and shower.

Located on one of the best plots at Shorefield Country Park site the lodge has its own private decking and outside garden area.

Fantastic property!
We had an excellent holiday here. The property was ideal. Very well equipped, more than enough kitchen items to use while away and also some household items that really helped too. Very comfortable living room and dining table very suitable too. Also made use of the outside terrace area and furniture, lovely for the sheet. BBQ was great as well. Bathrooms were ideal and clean. Bedrooms were ideal too, two twin rooms and a double bed with the en-suite. All bedrooms had a small tv and a fan. Absolutely ideal property on this caravan site. About a 5 minute walk up to the main buildings where the entertainment, restaurant, bar, shop and indoor pool. About another 5 minute walk to the outdoor heated pool and larger park. We had a great family time away, it was a perfect spot and absolutely ideal for our stay. The host was very accommodating, quick to reply and helpful with any queries. We’d love to consider staying here again in the future. Thanks again. Alice

Basic, but adequate for family needs.
The site is fantastic, spotlessly clean and tidy, very pretty, quiet and beautiful woodland walks to the sea front - a shallow Ford for children and dogs to paddle in. Several play parks provided - well maintained and attractive. … lots of dogs but everyone very friendly. Pool excellent - shop adequate but as expected, expensive. There is a large Tesco nearby 👍 Our lodge was in a very leafy corner of the site, rear area was water logged and very overgrown with trees so unusable. However, there was plenty of outside space to the side - and we were put most of the time. The Lodge is very basic, with no frills and obvious signs of under investment by London Owners, the shower in master Ensuite didn’t come apart during our stay for instance but it’s def on its last legs (as others have mentioned). The ‘ironing board’ had to be seen to be believed - literally a bit of hardboard covered in thin stained cloth - yes, definitely in need of some TLC but didn’t impact on our stay. Weather was fab - so that was absolutely great! was excellent - shop

Top quality property.
This is a great place to stay on the edge of the new forest with easy access to the surrounding area. It’s well maintained and has lots of facilities to make the stay comfortable. The only thing that we were concerned with was that the shower head for the en-suite was damaged and the water didn’t come out properly. But this was only a small problem and didn’t stop it working. However we would recommend that it is replaced when convenient.

Lovely spacious lodge for 6
Stayed with my young family, sister and mum in this extremely well equiped lodge which was situated on a very quiet part of Shorefield holiday park. The lodge was amazing value for money and contained everything needed for a relaxing break. We have stayed at Shorefield before and its a great location with indoor/outdoor pools, steam room, sauna, arcades etc. Amazing break and we will be renting this lodge again!

Excellent base for a family holiday
Lovely clean family friendly property, well equipped kitchen. Catered for a variety of ages and perfectly located on site for easy access to the pool and entertainment as well as access to the beach and clifftop walks. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed here twice now in November. Lovely peaceful lodge the club house has been refurbished to a high standard my Husband was very pleased with all the tv screens and costa coffee surrounding area is lovely too.

We had a lovely time at your lodge - thank you. We were very lucky with the hot September weather and the lodge was the perfect location to spend our time out of the sun. This was our 3rd stay in this property so I think that speaks for itself. Although a little dated is has everything you could need and everything works. We were on a cycling holiday so good place to keep bikes safely. Very quiet position on site. The communal facilities have had a uplift so all very nice

Home from home
We had a wonderful time. A little disappointed when we first arrived as the outside of the chalet was covered in webs and tree debris as the chalet is next to a lot of trees. However the chalet inside was very clean and fresh snd presented beautifully with everything you could possibly need although the two twin rooms are quite dark. . Great location and site facilities were excellent. We had glorious weather and were able to enjoy all the area had to offer beaches and quaint towns and villages and very dog friendly would recommend. As a suggestion a brush and mop down of the outside would give a better first impression although I appreciate it is difficult due to the position of the chalet . We set to and gave the outside a good clean which made a great difference. Would book again.

Very dark dirty lodge, no natural daylight.
Other reviewers had mentioned cleanliness of the lodge. There were cobwebs over the sink, not too bad, however there was food particles on the front of the cupboard doors and on the walls. Many of the plates and cups were filthy. I put all the items we were to use in the dishwasher prior to use. I checked the metal filter in the dishwasher and there was half an inch of filthy food and fat debris, I washed this under running hot water after removing the bulk of the debris, with kitchen roll. Whilst the lodge is well stocked with items, the cupboards and draws are dirty. The ornaments left in the bathrooms haven’t seen a duster for a long time. One of the bedrooms had a dirty sock behind the bed, I left this for the cleaners to find or not as the case maybe. After the bad reviews about cleanliness I felt sure the owner would have visited and arranged a deep clean, needless to say we were disappointed. The decking outside is very bouncy in places and the furniture whilst under trees had certainly not been cleaned prior to our arrival. We would definitely go to this site again, just not this lodge.

Lovely holiday pity about the electrics and extras.
On arrival there was no electricity. Maintenance did temporary repair for evening sorted the next day. Toaster kept tripping the power so we abandoned it and used grill. Shower head in main bathroom was broken so no spray just waterfall. We coped. The heating did not work no settings. Had to use portable heaters. Instead. A dead fox near the decking so children were unable to use garden. Told reception they promised to remove but even after 5 days still there when we departed. Would suggest extra bedding be provided if needed ie blankets etc. plus a handrail other side of steps. We still managed to enjoy the week in spite of difficulties. Malcolm Harris
