« Tout très bien.... en revanche, le fait que les draps et les serviettes n’étaient pas fournis est un vrai problème quand on vient de l’étranger, en avion! Je n’avais pas lu la notice d’accueil avant de partir donc j’ai été prise au dépourvu..... heureusement que j’avais des amis sur place qui ont pu me prêter le nécessaire !!! »

« Absolutely beautiful location, house is definitely a home from home. Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of utensils, crockery, cutlery. Lovely garden for my 2 year old grandson, very safe and secure. Parking rules ensure you can always pull up outside the property. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! »

« We had a lovely week at Rousdon! The estate is very picturesque and peaceful, with some lovely walks. The house is in the old stable courtyard, and had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We found it very conveniently located for Lyme Regis, and the wider Jurassic coast. « Was a great stay and we loved Lyme Regis having never been before. Our daughter loved fossil hunting. The property was great and very characterful, stairs a little narrow and steep, so be mindful for those less mobile. Thanks again »

« This property is part of a beautiful and peaceful estate in the countryside. A mile-long path - steep but well maintained - leads to a private beach. (Rocky. You need your tennis shoes for the trek and the beach.) It is also close to the coastal path, and the hike through England's "rainforest" undercliffs is delightful. I would stay again. »

« We arrived to a beautifully clean house which was light and airy. Loads of space and plenty of places to hang clothes and put things away. The kitchen had everything you could need. Everything was spotless. The beds were really comfy with lots of pillows, we slept really well. The location is great, the walk down to town takes about 15 mins and there was a great taxi to take us back up in the evening when our child’s legs couldn’t manage it. We had a lovely weekend away, thank you . »

« This is a special house. Beautiful furnished with artistic and eclectic furniture. Wonderful chill out communal lounges, spacious exterior patio perfect for dining outside, and well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms offering perfect privacy. Everything worked perfectly, including well organised parking minutes away. We cannot recommend Monmouth House enough for a wedding, or any social event where you need to be moments from the best Lyme offers, in a property that makes you feel really special....
