Een uitstekende lokatie met een goede bootjes-pendel naar de oost-oever. Alles wat je wilt binnen bereik. Kennelijk trekt dit hotel een zeer passende clientele. Geen luidruchtige massatoerist wat ons zeer welgevallig is. "

"De Winter Palace is an beautiful old lady met veel historie. Het gebouw is voornaam representatief en een beetje sleets. Er zijn meerdere restaurant, een beeldschone tuin met een gigantische pool. Heel erg fijn. De bediening is zeer goed en vriendelijk. Wij sliepen in het paviljoen wat aan de tuin is gelegen. Dit moet worden opgeknapt. Met deze vernieuwing is een aanvang genomen. Nu moet iedere kamer nog individueel worden opgeknapt. Daar tegenover staat dat het heel goedkoop is. Een aanrader."
