'Ik heb 12 nachten overnacht in Campanile Basildon. Daar heb ik de vriendelijkste, sympathiekste en meest attente mensen leren kennen. Uiteraard heb je voor dat geld geen kasten met gouden randjes of een sterrenrestaurant... Maar ik had een nette kamer, met iedere dag verse lakens, handdoeken en koffie-melk-suiker-theezakjes. Het engels ontbijt was elke ochtend weer heerlijk. Ook 's avonds genoot ik elke keer van een heerlijk avondmaal. Ik snap niet waarom dit hotel zo weinig sterren krijgt....

'Easy to find in an ideal location off the M25 near the M11 junction. Excellent parking, very clean room and bathroom (with bath). Staff could not have been more welcoming even though they might well have preferred to be somewhere else over Christmas. Dinner on Christmas Eve and breakfast on Christmas morning were first rate'

'Good value for money. 15 min walk to gants hill metro station and shops. Beautiful Valentine's park across the road. Breakfast is very good, nothing short off. Nothing wrong with the rooms either. Although the matras is pretty bad, springs... But you can't have it all for under 25eu a night. '

'The staff is amazing, the room was very nice. Great location on a 5 minute walk from the airport. Great food and nice bar. The only think i did not like was the smell of sigarettes/sigars on the 4th floor.( the hallway). I told the staff about this but i smelled it al the three days....i think the smell is in the carpet or the wall or something but they should look into that for the future. Overall great stay ,nice people, good food and great location. '
