"You would expect that a five-star hotel offers enough comfort to avoid guests having to fight for a pool chair or wait in line for breakfast—especially when arriving 45 minutes before closing and being told to “come earlier.”
As a Gold member with both Expedia and Marriott, it was disappointing that even a late check-out until 3 PM (just 3 hours extra) wasn’t possible. We weren’t asking for much—just a bit more flexibility.
The rooms are outdated, and considering the size of the hotel, it’s hard to believe there wasn’t a single room available. The whole experience felt impersonal, like we were just part of a process.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you expect five-star service. The only bright spot was the pool staff—they genuinely tried to help, but there simply aren’t enough chairs for the number of guests.
