'Beautiful 1880’s mansion converted to bed & breakfast. Gorgeous stained glass windows, fireplaces. Innkeeper was super friendly and accommodating/ lives onsite which is very convenient. Hearty and flavorful breakfast. Amazing neighborhood full of beautiful late 1800’s homes. Wish we had more time to explore Olde Louisville'

'Our stay at the Inn at St. James Court was one of the highlights of our trip. Pat is an incredible host who has truly mastered the art of hospitality. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us like old friends and she loves animals as much as us. She made us feel completely at home in her beautiful home.
The inn is warm, comfortable, and full of charm, with thoughtful touches that show how much Pat cares about her guests. Every morning started with a delicious breakfast and wonderful...

'The property is beautiful.
Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable.
The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat.
Allen was so gracious and helpful.
The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs.
Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful.

'The room was very small. Had hoped that myself and husband could work remote in room, but that was impossible due to tiny space. He was able to work downstairs in lobby, but not ideal.
Unable to get served at on-site restaurant. One person taking orders, cooking and serving during busy time of day.
The person's working at checking and in on-site bar area were very helpful. Coffee and water were not kept filled in lobby area. A little disappointed in this.
Good location near 4th...

'Leading up to the trip communication was amazing. I thought the staff at the desk was pleasant & helpful. And the hotel is beautiful & clean. Our only complaint was the shuttle. We followed the information provided for using it & were told upon arrival at the airport that we would need to wait as the driver had to leave due to “a pilot pick up”. We didn’t understand but at that point we waited an additional 45 minutes to get transportation back to the hotel. At the end of our stay we checked at...

'We only planned to stay for one night as it was our only option left close to the event we were going to. The walls are very thin, you hear all traffic, your neighbors and people in the halls. The shower had awful water pressure and water came out of the shower head and the faucet at the same time, also found multiple hairs which makes me think it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The air conditioning would not stay on and the room was extremely hot and muggy. When we couldn’t sleep due to the noise...
