The location of this property is wonderfulโsafe area, lots within walking distance, and the hotel itself appears recently updated and visually pleasant. Unfortunately, thatโs where the positives end.
To my absolute horror, when I pulled out the sofa bed to get my children settled for the night, there were multiple moving insects in the beddingโnot just one. I immediately called the front desk and was told to come downstairs for a new room. When I arrived, the front desk staff had disappeared and only security was available. No one followed up with me at any point, despite the seriousness of what I discovered.
Very late at night, I had to pack up everything, move my children, and move roomsโcompletely inconvenient and unsettling. Even after relocating, I was no longer comfortable sleeping there. We left first thing in the morning.
Dealing with management afterward has been an absolute nightmare. I have photos and videos clearly showing the insects in the pullout couch, yet they have refused to take responsibility and have been argumentative rather than concerned or helpful. I remained respectful and did not cause a scene upon checkout, but I was left with a truly awful experience. I now have all of our belongings sealed in storage to ensure we do not bring any potential bedbugs into our home.
Overall, this stay was extremely stressful and unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously for the sake of future guests.
