Very classic motel. Not modern or fancy, just a solid no-frills, clean and awesomely located place to rest. Great parking lot, useful amenities like beach chairs and beach towels available for use in the office. Fantastic location.

Classic motel, so wasn’t expecting anything flash but it was tidy and just what we needed for a quick stay. Accessible rates value for money if you want somewhere with the basics and close to Santa Monica beach and pier. Lots of shops and food with an easy stroll. Front desk staff friendly and we were able to check in early which we really appreciated.

Cute motel within easy walking distance to the beach and lots of shops within easy access, while away from the touristy parts of Santa Monica. Parking was great, would definitely stay again.

i don’t really want to slam this place it’s just old and a motel. it could be a bit cleaner and has the worst pillows ever. but decent for the price and free parking is a bonus

Comfortable and great location!
We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very accommodating. The room was comfortable and exactly what we needed. The location is ideal—lots in walking distance. Would happily stay here again!

Santa Monica pit stop.
Central location to restaurants, shops and only 2 blocks to beach. Parking is free for hotel guests a big plus. Free wifi only worked for 1 person. Street noise can be loud late at night, but that's what you get for being central. Mini-fridge useful. Lazyboy chair is comfortable.

It’s hard to rate as it’s a very reasonable price for the area but u kinda get what your pay for. Plenty of parking. Felt safe . Just a motel type place to sleep at night.

Points positifs: Personnel sympathique et hôtel très bien situé pour profiter de Santa Monica et Venice Beach. Chambre spacieuse. Possibilité de demander bouilloire et micro onde a l'accueil si nécessaire. Parking Gratuit Prix plutôt bas pour l'emplacement. Points négatifs: Hôtel vieillissant qui mériterait un rafraichissement. Ménage vraiment pas impeccable (Cheveux un peu partout dans la chambre, salle de bain, couverture et même dans le congélateur …)

The motel is handy for most things in Santa Monica and within easy reach of several bars on the street. Our room was well maintained with the exception of one plug socket. No coffee maker but not a big problem. We would have had a good stay there had the occupants in the next room hadn’t had their TV on for 48hrs solid. The receptionist after the first sleepless night couldn’t care less and I complained again on the second night and was given a key to a different room to get a break but this smelled badly of cigarettes. Without these problems it might have been a reasonable stay but the indifferent almost hostile attitude of the first member of staff made it our one and only stay. They never checked the room so I hope the occupants were actually Ok. Sad as I hate leaving reviews like this. The night manager did try but didn’t check the room which have solved the problem instantly.

Hi Peter, I am very sorry to hear about your experience. It’s honestly the first time we’ve had a complaint about a hostile worker. Could you please let me know if the morning receptionist was male or female? We definitely will figure out what happened & make sure this does not happen again. We are a small family run business so these type of reviews we take very personal. Also very surprised there was a smoke smell in the room as we are a smoke free facility. Please let me know if you change your mind and do decide to return. I’ll personally insure your stay is perfect!

Check in was easy, we did arrive an hour early so left our luggage in the open reception area. We did not feel comfortable leaving it there but we had no option. Room was ok, often it’s the little things that make it difficult to score higher- bad air conditioner, TV remote control that did not work as it did not match the TV in the room, incredibly noisy area on the weekends, terrible water pressure in the shower. We were thankful for the security gates being locked at night, it made us feel safe. The bottom line is- you get what you pay for.
