Great place!
Craig’s place was great. We were in for New Years with adult kids. Biked everywhere. Ate a lot - great restaurants all very close. Hiked. Hot tubbed. Roof top is the best view in LA for NYE fireworks! Craig was available and great with communication and recommendations. There is construction on the beach front row, but it didn’t bother us at all. And the view in the roof gives you a beautiful vista of the beach and inlet, as well as watching planes take off and land if you’re into that (no noise)!

great beach stay
We had a great stay at Craig's place. The location is unbeatable, one block from the beach. The house is spacious and well-equipped. We enjoyed using the beach equipment and toys as well as the roof deck hot tub and shower. The beach is not as busy as nearby Venice. Parking is difficult, but the house has a double garage. It's a short drive to local restaurants. We would stay again.

Great property for families
Amazing place to rent for a family. Spacious rooms, tons of amenities to enjoy the area (eg, bikes, helmets, beach stuff, scooters) and fast internet access (>200 mbps) for multiple devices to simultaneously stream movies, attend Zoom calls, and get work done. Owner/property manager was super responsive to all questions during our stay. Highly recommend.

Perfect family location
Great location. Lots of amenities. Clean and well stocked. Peaceful safe area with lots to do for whole family (beach, farmers market, food trucks, marina water activities). Craig/Irene make sure you are well taken care of.

Great weekend in MDR
We have rented many times on VRBO. This was our best experience. The house was immaculate with high end amenities big and small. The kitchen was incredible and equipped with anything you could think you need for cooking. Finally, the owners were very courteous, flexible, and responsive

Nice place
Overall very good. Best parts were roof top view and set up, parking and great room layout. Challenges were that grill was so dirty we chose not yo clean and use it, construction across the street work is everyday between 7 ans 7:15, and the fact that one main bedroom is a loft open yo the great room did not work out well. Overall we had a nice time but there were a few too many issues and surprises that we were not aware of when booking to make me feel like we got good value for the cost / lack of sleep,

Thanks for your review Tisha. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. In terms of being surprised by the construction and the loft bedroom, we jut wanted to mention that both items are clearly stated on the VRBO website (the quotes are from the VRBO site): (1) "Please note: There is currently construction across the street." Sadly, in Los Angeles, there is always construction going on nearby, especially near the beach! They don't work on Sundays per LA County guidelines. (2) "One (1) master bedroom AND one (1) Master loft bedroom with king size beds, . . . . The master loft bedroom looks over the living room . . . ." While this bedroom is indeed a loft, it also has the best view of the ocean! In terms of the grill, thanks for your note. Had you mentioned it during your stay, perhaps we could have done something about it. But in any event, we will discuss it with our cleaning crew. Again, thanks for staying with us.

Beautiful condo quiet neighborhood
This is a beautiful property that is perfect for active adults. Half a block from the beach with tons of walking trails and outdoor activities. Floor to ceiling windows with tons of natural light. Craig was an amazing host. He was available before and during the trip for any questions.

Fun beach getaway!
We had a great time at Craig's swank/modern house and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They've really stepped it up in terms of the decor/bathrooms/kitchen all well appointed. He was a pleasure to deal with and extremely responsive, really knows what he's doing and made it as easy as possible. The house is great-modern and cosy all at once-and really comfortable, and we enjoyed the rooftop spa and views immensely. Great array of extras including bikes, sand toys, and more which were really great to have. Be aware that there is tar on the beach in front of the house so either wear something or be prepared to scrub it off with baby/vegetable oil to which they kindly had ready for us as well. Also, there is construction going on across the street so factor some noise in for weekday stays. Kids had a blast, really fun getaway for us all!

Perfect Covid Getaway
My boys and I came to California for a nice little surf and skateboarding excursion. The place is so beautiful, modern, and in an amazing area. Rooftop was amazing. The views, dining, fireplace, and jacuzzi, made for an excellent area for winding down. Craig was very responsive and kind. Looking forward to coming back again soon. Three Thumbs up!😃

Excellent Location! Gorgeous Home!
My family and I stayed for a about a week with my kids and nanny. The home is wonderful, has everything you ever need for beach toys, the ocean and bikes (plus way more!) The home is literally steps from the clean beach! Beautiful view while relaxing in the hot tub on the deck top and while grilling! Craig was very helpful with restaurants and being super flexible with our requests. The cleanliness of the house was impeccable. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathrooms are amazing and the beds are very comfortable. They even had a crib and high chair for our one year old which is rare. We had a blast and if we return to the area this is without a doubt where we will stay again! Thank you Craig and Irene!

Getaway by the sea.
We really enjoyed staying at this town house a short block from the beach. The house was so well furnished. We wondered if the owners used a designer. Strangely I can't get the couch out of my mind. We used every room and enjoyed the rooftop deck with it's hot tub and furniture around a fire pit. The kitchen was a great place to make meals for our group and we were all able to dine at the long table together with8 people. My husband can't wait to go back and even wanted to stay another day. Craig the owner was very responsive which is a bonus.

Great Beach Getaway
We had an awesome quick getaway in MDR! The house was awesome and Craig was super easy to work with from start to finish. House instructions were detailed and clear and we had everything we needed to make our family of all ages feel comfortable and relaxed. Great location just steps from the beach with tons of beach accessories for everyone to enjoy. The rooftop deck was a perfect place to take in the sunset and wind down the day. Highly recommend!

My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was nicely remodeled, is just steps to the beach, and comes fully stocked with lots of beach gear, surfboards, bikes, etc. Highly recommend.

Nice house, great location!!
House worked out perfectly to come out to CA and visit our son who works close by in Santa Monica, but lives in downtown LA so he stayed at the house with us along with his sister and brother in law. Great time just hanging at the beach, going shopping along Abbott Kinney, hanging out roof top at Hotel Erwin and trying out the different resturants. Craig, the info packet you provided about resturants, attractions, etc. in the area was great and very helpful!

Beautiful home next to the Beach!
We stayed at the beach house in Dec 2016 with my parents, my wife and daughter (18 months), and my brother and his girlfriend. The house is well located next to the beach, far enough from the bustle of Venice Beach and central to all our L.A. activities. We walked to Venice Beach every day and drove to Santa Monica to eat out. Host Craig was very helpful and we had everything we needed, incuding a safe garage spot. House was clean, quiet, modern, with a common area large enough for us to hang out, cook together and play games. The house also has a rooftop patio that we could have used if the temperature had been warmer. Would definitively recommend the beah house again if staying in LA.

Wonderfully awesome house
This was the first time booking with VRBO. We felt welcome from the start. Booking and checkin-in was easy since Craig was very patient with us throughout that process. The house is well appointed with just about everything a family needs for a great beach vacation. The house is very well maintained and was very clean with an awesome modern chic layout and furnishings. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. If we come back to the LA area, we would definitely book this house again.

We spent mid-July 2016 at this location and the house is in nice condition, well maintained, and well appointed. The owners are available if you have any questions or needs, and the on-site bicycles, boogie boards and beach stuff was well put to use. Will come again!

Wish it were my house
Our family of 6, including three kids and my father in law had a fabulous time. Being multi-story allowed for privacy as well as the ability for some to sleep in while others could be early risers. While right on the street, noise was seldom an issue. The house is spacious and well appointed. There was nothing we lacked from coffee filters to shampoo. The furniture was both stylish and comfortable. The kitchen completely outfitted and modern. The location is exactly as described, 50 feet to the beach. The house is far enough from the hustle and bustle of Venice to truly relax and enjoy. We started every morning on the roof deck watching the sunrise followed by a long walk on the beach. I don't know if the crowds will be the same in the summer, but even on an 80 degree day, the beach was quiet and inviting. When we used the house bikes to check out Venice, the crowds were noticeably thicker. Parking was a huge plus as we had two cars with us. One of our cars was an suv. Don't think an oversize one would work but ours fit fine. Can't say enough nice things about our stay. Craig was always available for any questions.We followed several of his restaurant recommendations listed in his house manual and had great meals. Hope to come back soon.
