Location. Location. Location in the heart of it all but, still experience tranquility and comfort in Marina Del Rey-Venice Beach. Our remodeled contemporary home offers a serene escape. Enjoy our Tuscan-style patio adorned with fruit trees, twinkling lights, and an old brick oven. Beyond the garden's solitude, vibrant Venice beckons with its marina, boats, superb restaurants, and Main Street attractions.

Inside, neutral interiors and a cozy fireplace extend a warm welcome. This 3-bedroom, 2-bath home features a tranquil backyard with fruit trees and a barbecue. The master bedroom offers a spa tub. The living room boasts a fireplace and high-end sofa bed, perfect for accommodating a small group.

You'll find ample parking with a 2-car driveway and street parking options. The location is unbeatable, just one block from Venice Beach and the marina, with easy access to the ocean. This quiet neighborhood is surrounded by multi-million-dollar homes and provides easy access to Abbot Kinney and Venice Beach. Santa Monica is a short 5-minute drive away.

Within walking distance, you'll discover the fabulous Scopa Restaurant and Firestone Walker Brewery. At the end of the block, you can access the Marina Del Rey bike trails and park, along with finding dining and drink options like the Ritz Carlton, Cafe Del Rey, Tony P’s, The Warehouse, and more. The other direction on our street leads to the new Firestone Walker Brewery, Beach 26 Cafe, Scopa, and Sunny spot, as well as rentals for Birds, bikes, and scooters.

Bicycles are available for rent nearby on Washington Blvd, and LAX and Santa Monica are just a 10-minute drive away. Venice is a hotspot with galleries, excellent restaurants, and shopping. And everything you need is within walking distance, or you can rent a BIRD scooter.

Our guests have consistently enjoyed their stay, and we can help coordinate additional services such as massages and a private chef (all subject to availability) to enhance your overall experience. All mattresses are brand new and exceptionally comfortable, and the sofa bed features a top-rated Temperpedic mattress. We take pride in keeping the house impeccably clean.

We invite you to leave your shoes and worries at the door and bask in the brightness of our mornings. You'll never want to leave; everything you desire is within walking distance, from great restaurants to movie theaters, grocery stores, and pharmacies. For longer stays we only accomodate an intial amount of paper, including toilet paper and towel, soap.

Cute little house near Marina Del Rey and Venice beach

House was an old house, typical for the area. Clean and well maintained. Beautiful garden with many flowers plus orange and lemon trees. Location near Marina Del Rey and the beaches was great. Groceries and restaurants near. Kitchen was well equipped and the patio with grill was great for cook outs. In the end of December the nights were cold and we needed to keep the heating on. Air heating was a bit noisy for us as we're more used to radiators.

Hidden gem in walkable, convenient neighborhood

Comfortable home with large rooms and all the amenities. Cute, private backyard with yard, lounge chairs, and mature trees (the one in the front is amazing!) Quiet, safe neighborhood which was so much fun to explore all the surrounding architecture and yards. Can walk all the way to Venice Beach - cute neighborhoods along the way and lots of dog-walkers out. Nice walking trail near the Marina. Great overall location, back house is a nice way to extend your space/great for guests who want some additional privacy. Personally loved that even in an older home both spaces offered AC.

Great location for walking and for accessing southern California's attractions. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, living room and kitchen were great for cooking together, chatting and movie nights. The yard is delightful and would be great for hanging out when the evenings get warmer. Would definitely stay here again. I'm baffled though why the house is listed as 4 bedroom/2 bath. There are 3 bedrooms/2 baths with the option to use the additional guest house in the backyard. With the guest house (at an extra charge) there are 4 bedrooms/3 baths. We did use the guest house and found it to be comfortable and clean as well.

Perfect little house

We stayed for 3 nights, me, my wife and our three kids ranging from 13-18 years old. It was exactly what we wanted. A great base to explore Venice area. Not walkable to beach, but we knew that going in. A really nice neighborhood, and a beautiful (ripe!) orange and lemon tree in the back yard. East parking for 1 car. House had all the basics and the host was responsive but not overbearing. This place has it dialed in. Thank you!

The location was fantastic, both in terms of proximity to the beach and the neighborhood itself. The house had everything we needed, the backyard was a great place to hang out, and the owner/manager was very prompt in providing information and answering questions. A Perfect Stay

First of all, the check-in process was a breeze. We were early, but Susan, the owner, let us drop off our bags while the house was being cleaned from previous guests. The house is lovely and spotless and was the perfect size for us--my wife and I and two adult children who needed their own bedrooms. There is everything you might need including washer/dryer and lots of kitchen equipment plus a driveway to park your car. The location is in a very quiet and beautiful residential neighborhood, but still a close walk to plenty of restaurants etc. A 15-20 minute walk to the Abbot-Kinney area (for the trendy!) and all the craziness of the Venice Beach scene. We travel once a year or so to visit family and we would definitely return to this property if it's available.

Great location, go left when u get down by the marina and are walking to the walkable restaurants etc. we drove to Venice beach, Santa Monica pier, universal and into Hollywood to see stars etc.. location is great. Everything u need and more. The home is clean, beds comfy, showers clean and safe area. Parking is one car with street parking which seemed available, we didn’t need to street park. We would stay here again!

Quintessential California Near the Beach

When I read the reviews for this property, it sold it for me, and having stayed at this cute house, I can now give the same great feedback. Susan was wonderful to deal with. She knew we were driving up after spending the first part of our trip in San Diego and proactively reached out to check in our arrival time and made the house available to us hours before scheduled check in when she learned we were arriving early. She shared great recommendations - Scopa down the street - wow - pricey but great - and was available for any questions we had. The home was clean, well equipped and a had a great gas fire place, but the beautiful flower arches, lemon and orange trees just made it for me. Sadly our weather was chilly and rainy so we didn’t get to use the outdoor space, but it would have been a great spot to unwind under the fairy lights if it had been nicer. Susan allowed us to rent both houses - the main and guest cottage - while we were there which allowed us for a little more space for our party of five. We were sad to leave this cute beach cottage and will be “California dreaming” about when we can come back again!
