Only three stars for a late check-in is a very harsh rating. Especially when it is explained on the apartment's fridge magnet that you should only remove a star from your rating when there was a problem that was not resolved by the host and had a very significant impact on your stay. You stayed in my apartment for six days without any problems except late check-in. That week I hired a new housekeeper who was late and slow, which is why it took her longer to prepare the place for you. This can happen in vacation rentals. As explained on the magnet, we are not hotels. We have neither the means nor the staff that hotels have. However, we rely heavily on guest reviews and any review below 5 stars means that there has been a major problem that has not been resolved, and this has a profound and negative impact on our listing. For this reason, you should be much more generous and kind the next time you review a vacation rental.

I am surprised by your review, Nicolau, especially since I have been very accommodating to you and your requests. We repainted in June 2023 and the door has been repaired since your stay here. My guests are generally happy with their stay and the beds. I don't know why you are criticizing the shower: the water pressure is incredibly strong and the water is very hot. You might want to book a hotel next time. You won't have a full kitchen, free parking, and bikes, and it will cost you three times as much, but it might be a better fit for your expectations.
