The property has character and is nostalgic. Being in Koreatown there are great options for good food nearby. There are also a few 7 elevens nearby and a donutshop across the road. Cassells cafe is accessible from the hotel and serve the best pie’s. Transportation like busses and metro are close but we recommend using Uber of lyft

Prima hotel met goede bedden. Pluspunten: - goede bedden - aardig personeel - mooie lobby met veel zitgelegenheid - wij waren enorm verrast door de dagelijkse (gratis) koffie service en wijnproeverij. Minpunten: - verschrikkelijk kleine badkamer - zeer oncomfortabele douche - veel herrie vanuit de straat door slecht geïsoleerde kamer.

Very charming property, complimentary coffee and wine during certain hours, they also gave me a credit to dine at Casella's. There is an option to communicate via text with the property which was convenient. I was in love the moment I walked in. The area was walkable with a lot of bar and dining options within walking dostance. Would stay again for sure.

room was very clean and bedding were comfy. the staff was kind and supportive. I like the checkout time an hour later than other hotels. that made me more comfortable in the morning since no need to be hurry to meet the checking out time. one thing to be better was noise management. I stayed street faced room and the window was not so sound proof so I could hear all the car sounds midnight. also the sound of a garbage truck clearing away trash in the early morning was like thunder.

The hotel is elegant, with a classy old-fashioned feel. It has everything you need, though--wifi, elevator, AC. The attached restaurant was very nice, breakfast served all day, but also has lunch, dinner, and a bar. There were some other options nearby, too. We could walk to a bus stop and metro. The staff was very friendly, allowing us to check in early and holding our bags when we checked out and had a late flight. They also helped when we couldn't get our air to work. Plus there is coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. I would highly recommend the Hotel Normandie.

I can hear all the noises from outside. But everything else was okay. Between every room was properly soundproofed.

This is a little hidden jewel. When you first walk in, the lobby has such a unique charm to it. The staff is incredibly courteous. And rooms have an old school feel them without feeling old. The crew kept the rooms very clean. The restaurant next door was nice. I’ll definitely stay here when I’m back in LA.
