Waarschuwing! Blijf hier weg!!
Hou in gedachte als u dit leest dat deze kamer 300$!!! Per nacht heeft gekost, we hebben het hier dus niet over een motel van 50$ waar je dan ook niet veel van mag verwachten! Laat ik positief beginnen... de dame die bij de receptie zat was erg vriendelijk voor ons waarschijnlijk de enige reden waarom we in de eerste instantie zijn gebleven. De locatie is mooi aan het strand al had de vaag uitziende drankenzaak op het parkeerterrein ons al moeten waarschuwen. De kamer valt (letterlijk) uit elkaar van elende met een airco die met plakband aan elkaar zit. De kamer was op het eerste gezicht schoon maar we kwamen laat en moe aan en schijn bedriegt. Er lagen letterlijk tussen het vuil onder het bed, wat we zo savonds laat niet hadden gezien, allemaal vogel veren. De wandpanelen zitten los zo ook de planken rondom het bed. Kapotte stoelen op het tarras kortom alles is oud en versleten! Verder is het ontzettend gehorig waardoor we snachts samen met onze kinderen mee mochten genieten van de vrijpartijen van onze buren. Het ontbijt is om te janken zo slecht met voorverpakte broodjes in vage plastic zakjes in een vieze ontbijtruimte. We hadden 2 nachten geboekt maar zijn na 1 nacht al weg gegaan zonder enige restitutie, daar konden ze niets mee De man die er de volgende dag zat was veel minder vriendelijk en gaf aan wel een andere kamer aan te kunnen bieden toen ik zei is die dan beter of minder gehorig zei hij zelf nou nee. Blijf dus weg bij dit hotel!!!

Please accept our apologies for your negative experience at our hotel. We are an older establishment but usually get great reviews on cleanliness and even our breakfast. We do not have a kitchen so cannot offer cooked food. I am sending a copy of your comments to the manager & front desk. We certainly do not want unhappy guests. We need more information regarding room, mode of check-in and why your room couldn't be changed. so this won't happen again. So sorry!

Prima hotel
Goed hotel. Prachtige locatie. Wij zaten op de begane grond met uitzicht op de haven. Vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Bedden een beetje te kort (voor iemand van 1.92 m). Voldoende ruime parkeergelegenheid (en gratis).

Leuk hotel met een perfecte ligging.
Perfecte ligging: dicht bij Venice beach en op 20 minuten rijden van de luchthaven. Rustige kamers. Ook kamers met mooi uitzicht op de haven te boeken. Gratis parkeergelegenheid voor de deur.

Accomodation is ok, a little out dated. Found it overpricrd for the accomodation but guess this had to do with season and location: walking distance to Venice Beach but out of the noise.

The room STANK of disinfectant and paint. It was freezing but staff couldn't make heater work. Lighting is fierce white fluorescent - really unpleasant. Room was under the stairs and noisy all the time. Worst - no running water in the bathroom sink. Had to clean teeth in the bath. Staff unhelpful and VERY passive aggressive. Not so much as an apology let alone a partial refund. Wouldn't stay here again if you paid me.

Ziemlich runtergekommenes Hotel. Der Preis ist dermaßen übertrieben. Bettlaken und Bezüge wurden entweder nicht gewechselt oder einfach so alt und zerschlissen. Wir haben uns geekelt und beschlossen, darin auf keinen Fall zu schlafen. An der Rezeption herrschte eine freundliche Gleichgültigkeit. Es wurde uns nicht einmal ein anderes Zimmer angeboten. Nachdem wir gleich wieder ausgeheckt haben, bleiben wir auf die unverschämten Kosten über 2 Nächte sitzen. Die Kaution wurde dann auch noch abgezogen!? Es besteht dringender Handlungsbedarf

You get what you pay for, and less! The room needs some serious updating, and ripped and stained linen needs to be replaced. A huge issue, and a serious concern, was the excessive use of disinfectant, I guess it was Lysol. The smell took my breath away as soon as we checked into the hotel. I'm allergic to fragrance, and I have asthma. We could not allow them to clean the room for that reason! Please, if you have sensitivities/allergies, and/or Asthma, do not stay here!!!!

Wir hatten das Basic-Zimmer, nicht zu empfehlen, man fühlt sich etwas, wie in einer Abstellkammer. Es entstand kein Wohlfühlgefühl im Zimmer und wir sind wirklich nicht anspruchsvoll. Stark veraltete Möbel, keine USB-Anschlüsse im Zimmer. Konnten uns aber freundlichweise an der Rezeption Adapter ausleihen. Kaffee und Tee konnten man sich auf dem Flur zubereiten und es gab auch ab und zu etwas Gebäck (einzeln eingeschweißt). Tolle Lage, relativ schnell zu Fuß am Meer, hinter dem Hotel die Marina mit Strand. Mit einem anderen/besseren Zimmer würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen, wenn der Preis stimmig ist.

Foghorn Harbor Inn is quaint and situated in the heart of the Marina del Rey harbor. We loved our little patio and watching all the weekend activity of volleyball, kayakers, joggers, friends having coffee and gatherings, and lots of doggies! We did wish the hotel provided hot coffee with coffee bar options for our morning patio time. We would definitely come back!

I've stayed here at least 5 times now mainly because of the location. I've been hoping they would make some improvements seeing as how old the property is but alas thing seem to be getting worse. Tiny crumbling soaps, screen doors off the rails. no more coffee in the AM, and just basic things that havent been maintained or improved at all. Most likely wont be staying again.

Chambre non faite alors que l'option nous était donnée de demander de faire la chambre. Du coup poubelles non vidées. C'est un gag ! 50 USD prélevés sur carte bancaird sans aucune raison ni justificatif à la date d'aujourd'hui.

Nice little hotel in a good location and on the beach. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The parking lot is big with free parking. Yeah the rooms and property are dated without amenities, but if that’s what you want there is a Marriott across the street for triple the price.

We were given a room that was not serviced. The sheets were off and the garbage was full. We were assigned another room. The new assigned room was neat but the sheets were not clean. We were booked for 2 days but decided to check out one day early. We went to another hotel away from the area because there were too many transients around that area. Positive note is that it was next to Cheesecake Factory restaurant.

Older place, amazing location. The room needed vacuuming, the bathroom floor had hair all over, the linens on one bed had stains. The room was in need of maintenance. What made up for it - The location was amazing, walkable, and super safe.

The property is well located, old but clean and the rooms are OK. The staff at the front desk was cordial and helpful. The issue I had was with the water heater that was broken one of the days I stayed and I had to take a cold bath early in the morning. The hotel did nothing about it, after several attempts to talk to the manager in person, phone calls later or emails. I haven’t received a reply yet. Not good management…

I’d been in this hotel 30 years earlier and found it outstanding. It’s still cute and with a great, kind staff. But the property shows its age. The rooms have been renewed, the bathrooms still look the same. The unbeatable upside is the location, right on a quiet beach.
