Cottages in Llangammarch Wells

'I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in...

'We loved it despite me having a chest infection followed by rotten cold!Peaceful, spotless, comfortable, everything we needed.Didn’t find a key for back door but it didn’t matter as we did loading that way then locked from inside and used front which I managed okay with my crutches. We enjoyed the fact that no live tv channels as we explored streaming with good effect. Not to be missed, Red Kite Feeding,Hay on Wye book shops and castlesMany wonderful walks I unfortunately can no longer...

'Wow, what a beautiful little getaway in the most stunning place. I could have stayed forever and I will most definitely be going back. There are no negatives for this gem'

'Lovely, well equipped house with beautiful views. Ideal for those with limited mobility or wheelchair users.'

'The cottage was lovely. However, the owners weren't about, to ask questions. We couldn't use the log burner as there was no wood or anything. There was no basics when we arrived, such as toilet roll or milk and no shop to buy things after 1pm. The location was lovely but very remote. Had to travel to get anywhere. Lovely and quiet though. The history of the cottage was fascinating.'

'Great place lovely people couldn't of been more helpfull Such a lovely place the dogs loved the feild which was secore and safe for our hounds as was the garden of the cottage High light was the hot tub never used one before but we used it every day We will definitely be coming back Thanks again'

'We absolutely loved the lodge! Such a beautiful place and a wonderful little getaway. Stargazing from the hot tub was a really special moment on our mini moon :)'

'Adjacent main road a bit noisy. Otherwise good. Very quiet spot with respect to people. Landlords very helpful.'

'Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. 'Good communication pre visit with host. Clean and tidy. All facilities in place. Nice village location. Parking available for car just outside cottage although parking a bit tricky - tight spot!!'

'Amazing, friendly welcome after a long drive. Always on hand to help with anything. The welcome book was very handy, suggested walks and places to eat! Definitely stay there again.'

'Beautifully located in rural setting, with amazing countryside all around. Easy to either relax at the cottage enjoying the hot tub, or plenty of activities, walking , scenic drives to do.'

'Second time we stayed at this cottage, and it was just as lovely as the first time. We really enjoyed the hottub and the bara brit! The owners are really friendly and are there to help you when needed. '

'We really enjoyed our week at swallows nest. We originally booked a weekend but booked and stayed on an extra 4 nights. Really comfortable quiet and owners were lovely people. We would have preferred a washing machine in the cottage instead of the a dish washer but apart from that we all really enjoyed our time at swallows nest.We visited Castell Dinefwr which was only a 10 minutes drive and walked through castle woods which was a nice walk. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable'
