The weather had been snowing therefore the conditions of the ramp up to the lodge was very icy and slippery - would be dangerous for anyone a little older/fragile. The photos almost do not do the property justice, you really need to stay to properly appreciate it all. Lovely history to it, everything you need for your stay.
