'Lovely stay in Y Capel. Check in really easy and parking onsite was fine. Room was absolutely lovely with a really comfy king bed and great bathroom. Breakfast was in the Erskine Arms and was really tasty. A fair few options on the hot menu and a choice of fruit, yogurts and cereal. We also ate in the pub in the evening and was a really nice meal.
One thing to note.... The church next door has a bell that chimes every 15 minutes as well as on the hour, all through the night. Our room...

'Great location. Easy access to nearby attractions and transport. Parking was simple and felt safe. Instructions for check-in and stay were clear and easy to follow. Staff were excellent—very friendly, helpful, and responsive. Overall, a smooth and pleasant stay. Would recommend.'

'We went to this hotel for a wind down and get away from it all. We didn't use the spa, but we didn't need to. From the moment we arrived we left everything going on back home behind bus, and have returned today totally refreshed and ready to go again!'

'As I was using a crutch, getting in with luggage was difficult. Providing a ramp on half of the front steps would be a help. However, the lift inside was good and the bedroom accessible
in spite of a step to the bathroom.
The hotel manager was always around and extremely helpful. Does he ever go off duty!!
My room card did not work on the front entrance when I came back after midnight. Luckily another person arrived and used their card. And my card still worked on my bedroom door

'Really enjoyed my stay at this property! Excellent variety of choice at breakfast. I personally enjoyed a full hot breakfast. The staff friendly and polite and the location of the hotel is spot on, a few minutes walk from the pier and close to all local shops and restaurents. I would definitely return to the Merrion Hotel!'
