'We had a lovely stay, breakfast was amazing!! The only thing we can fault is the bed, it was so hard and uncomfortable that we felt bruised and battered the next morning! Would of definitely stayed another night if it hadn’t of been so uncomfortable as the weather picked up on the day we were leaving '

'Uitstekend ontbijt met lekker en vers fruit! De kamers hebben alle voorzieningen, zijn wel aan de kleine kant want je kan je valies er niet in kwijt. Het bed is ook aan de kleine kant als je zelf thuis een groot bed hebt. Het matras in onze kamer is aan vervanging toe, het midden was een kuipje, slechte nacht dus.'

'The main hotel is stunning! Beautifully decorated and really charming. The 'beach' is a bit of an overstatement but the views of the water are incredible. Now the room ... although it is advertised (not particularly well though) that the private bathroom for the double room is not in the room ... i think any hotel that is under expedias luxury programme should be able to sell any rooms without an inroom bathroom ... especially when the other rooma in the lodge are not much for expensive! Either...

'Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. All towels, glasses, cutlery in the room as well as bedding was very clean. The hotel itself has a unique style, very well thought through with stylish design and decorations. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious and quickly prepared and served. Hotel is situated within 15 minutes drive from seaside town as well as...

'The first morning my partner slipped & fell. Breaking his left wrist & a right elbow on which he needs a operation. There were no warnings about it may be slippy. Told owner who looked at me blankly & didn't offer any help. Had to come home two days early.'

'The room was clean and tidy and very pleasant. The staff were very helpful, kind and cheerful. Breakfast provided a good choice of cereals and a variety of hot breakfasts.'

'The service and breakfast was exellent and the property exceptionally clean. This room did not have an ensuite bathroom and so nightime bathroom excursions were a bit risky as I had to leave my room and go down some steps to reach the facility. This was reflected in the price but was a surprise to me and may not work for less mobile visitors.'
