« This place is FANTASTIC!! It's quiet, peaceful, and has incredible views of the mountains. Don't let the drive up intimidate you because it is worth it!! The hosts are so nice and have paid attention to all the details that made staying here special, from the automatic nightlight in the bathroom to the games in the living area. I have now convinced myself I need a small cabin tucked high in the woods because I didn't want to leave. Black Mountain and Montreat are small towns with so much charm...

It was fascinating to see how crafty and functional the modern appliances were unobtrusively installed, keeping the integrity of the cabin structure without sacrificing the convenience of technology. « This cabin was one of the best places we stayed while on a 2 week road trip! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The back porch was our favorite place to sit, as it overlooked the pasture with 7 horses, as well as a creek in the distance. It was so peaceful there! The people who worked there were so kind and helpful. They even helped us tremendously with a car issue that we had by calling the tow truck for us and making us comfortable during our wait.
