'Close to interesting boardwalk along harbour in Halifax and right in the lower part of the center with many restaurants nearby. This means also that you have to walk uphill in many cases. Hotel is somewhat dated and internetreception was less than expected. Friendly personnel. '

'This was my husband's and my first time in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Hollis was a nice hotel, especially our room; it was quite large for two people, so we enjoyed the extra space. We ordered room service while staying, and the food was quite good, so check out The Cannery. The only fault of the hotel was that the fitness room/gym was not that impressive; it only had a few cardio machines and free weights. We have been to hotels that have had so much more. Overall, nice hotel.'
