'We found Nalu Retreat to be a true gem! The Dome was just like it appears in the photos. Everything was clean, clean, clean and tastefully done. As a former boutique hotel manager & chef I was impressed with the attention to detail. Comfortable leather sofa, extra throws, nature sounds, plenty of plugs, kitchen supplies, Robes, Turkish towels, goodies in the kitchenette, too many to mention. We were enthralled with the setting and enjoyed our time in the hot tub and the privacy surrounding us....

'We enjoyed our stay here for one night. It’s close to a lot of things. Only thing to complain about was the noise of the airconditioning, but that was solved but shutting it off'

'Good hotel for a short stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfasts with enough choice.'

'Horribly noisy , there was a hockey tournament and the teams must've all stayed at the hotel . Kids were running up and down the hall until 11pm yelling at each other . I'm assuming they didn't have enough chaperones. We were on the second floor and all we could hear throughout the night was the flushing of toilets coming down the plumbing inside the walls , which was the wall that the headboard is on . 'Staff was soo nice and helpful!'

'Nice and clean hotel. A room with a view to die for. Very nice and polite staff. Maybe a bit pricy, but worth every cent.'

'Het hotel gaf een versleten on oubollig indruk. We moesten van kamer wisselen omdat er een hele nare geur hing in de eerste kamer. De houten meubels plakte en alle voelde een beetje vies aan. Het lijkt alsof niets is vernieuwd sinds de jaren 80. Locatie is wel top. En de ontbijtbuffet is redelijk. Eigen parkeergelegenheid is handig.

'Close to interesting boardwalk along harbour in Halifax and right in the lower part of the center with many restaurants nearby. This means also that you have to walk uphill in many cases. Hotel is somewhat dated and internetreception was less than expected. Friendly personnel. '

'Excellent staff'

'Great location.'
