Cottages in Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve

'This was the best place we stayed in England. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We bought oven ready meals and cooked them. Made a salad. Good times. Lovely garden in back overlooking Pub. It was easy walking to grocery and Pub. '

'A very comfortable and well furnished cottage. We were able to cook good meals on an excellent gas range although there are a few bits and pieces of cutlery/crockery that would have made it even better. This was the fifth time we have stayed in this cottage; it is a great place to stay if you want to see many places in the area. We even visited Newcastle (easy if you use 'park and metro') and as far as Kelso in Scotland to see Floors Castle.'

'Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so...

'Rural location perfect get away from the world for the new year. Good location to explore the beautiful Northumberland countryside & coastline. Clean, cosy & comfortable, everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The log burner was amazing. Thank you to Gillan & Stuart '

'Very clean and had most things we needed. Bed was really comfy and the view was beautiful. Only slight issue was that the underfloor heating was quite noisy, especially at night but it didn’t really affect our stay, just took a while to get used to.'
