My friend and I had an amazing stay! Close to Maple Hill and shops. We loved spending time on the dock watching boats and the beautiful view of the sunset.

Overall this was a great stay. Pros: the location was gorgeous, the beds may have been some of the best VRBO beds we have ever stayed in, the kitchen was really clean and well fitted. Cons: the place was super musty. It also smelled like wet dog and there was dog fur in the rug by the couch. We were lucky that we didn’t need to use the downstairs bedroom because we don’t think anyone could have slept down there because the mold/musty smell was brutal. It made being in the living room difficult at times as well. There were also a lot of spiders. Obviously some of it is not controllable. But they were everywhere. Lastly, the water was not really potable. We wish we knew going in but made it work.

The property was gorgeous and very well-equipped! The lake is peaceful and beautiful, and the water toys and outdoor spaces are perfect. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and all of the living spaces and bedrooms are cozy and well-designed. The house accommodated our group of 7 very well, and it was one of the best VRBOs that we had ever stayed in. The only problem was that we were only given two small rolls of toilet paper for our large group, and the property manager wasn’t very helpful in solving the issue. Overall though, it was a wonderful experience, and we would stay again!

Perfect Family Vacation

Our expectations were exceeded in every way. The home was immaculate, fully stocked with everything we needed, and had plenty of comfortable spaces for our large family to relax and spend time together. The neighborhood was quaint and peaceful, and the neighbors were incredibly friendly—even taking time to show us around. We were especially delighted by the Boat Parade and the amazing firework displays. It was a truly memorable stay, and we would absolutely return!

Magical Fall Home

Perfect for a family getaway. Rooms upstairs so meeting in kitchen and living rooms to get together works. View of the sunset lovely and set up for evening snores and relaxing very nice.

Labor Day Birthday Weekend Family Celebration

We never left the property as it had all the comforts of home for a peaceful lake weekend getaway. Days filled with pristine lake swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding and pedal boats, early morning and night fishing… gorgeous sunsets, Nights spent by the firepit . House was spotless and had all the kitchen equipment we needed. All outdoor furniture and equipment ( grill, boats, ) were beautifully kept ! none of us wanted to leave when it was time to check out.

Memories made.

Relaxing at the lakehouse is what we needed. Grandson loved fishing from the back of the paddle boat. The property is beautiful, quiet and spacious. Only surprize was rentting through a second management company with added charges, but they do put in a noticable extra effort to their property.

Dreamy lakeside house!

We SOOO enjoyed this house! Plenty of room for our group, thoughtful touches and easy and quick drive to Walmart for groceries. LOVED being on the lake/pond - splashing with the kids and kayaking!

Family getaway

Unfortunately we didn’t have great weather:( BUT with that being said we appreciated more how welcoming and comfortable the house was. We spent most of our stay inside. The house had everything we needed. They left a sweet note and several special “extras” that were so thoughtful to have there for us…such a warm feeling of appreciation! The house was perfect for family dinners, movie nights and game nights. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Anniversary Gathering

Our children came together from California, Denver, and Philadelphia to spend an extended weekend marking our 50 th anniversary. We delighted in sitting on the deck watching the morning sun illuminate the homes framed by the colorful fall foliage on the far side of the lake. Later it was the sunset. We made delicious meals on the grill and eight of us sat at the table together. In the evening it was games in the living room and d movies. Fabulous setting, comfortable homey feel. Couldn’t have been better. Thanks

Amazing Lake Experience

Our group of 5 adults and two kids, 11 and 12, had such a magical time at this property. We made life long memories fishing off the dock and from the paddle boards. Much time was spent on the kayaks, as well. The home is cozy and inviting and plenty of room for all of us. Beds were so comfortable and the heating/cooling units in each room make for a personalized experience. Thank you for an unforgettable trip. If you’re looking for a great experience this is it.

Annual Cousins trip

Loved the home, and the owners were very responsive and helpful throughout the booking/stay process! And so thoughtful of them to offer us early access the day of our Checkin-in. Loved the outside deck - beautiful sunset, water views with table seating for 8 which worked out great for our group size. The dining room space accommodates up to 10, and living room seats 6 comfortably.

Amazing Place

What an absolutely amazing place to stay. The house was recently renovated and it’s better than the pictures. It’s immaculately clean and right on the lake. You roll down the steps from the kitchen and the lake is 20 feet in front of you with a wonderful rock entrance. You can fish from the dock or just sit and look at the sunset. Perhaps most surprisingly to us there were very very few mosquitoes. I kid you not. I’ve never been in New England in the summer and never seen so few mosquitoes. It was absolutely heavenly.
