« This was our 2nd stay at Dos Oakes. Last year was our first time and it was just our family. We had so much fun last year that we brought another family with us this year and had a blast! The house setup with the private pool was perfect! After having fun at the river during the day, we would come back to the house and the kids swam while the adults cooked dinner. « This property is great for a fun family experience!! The house is beautiful and has a wonderful layout for different family age groups with 5 bedrooms/5 baths. We had two hiccups at the beginning but the owners were VERY QUICK and RESPONSIVE to remedy those!! It is not uncommon to have a glitch or two when you rent a property. « Check-in was super easy and directions to the cabin were very helpful. Christy, our host, was extremely responsive to our questions and requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to be back as soon as possible! The stargazing and wildlife were spectacular. Our only surprise was our scorpion friends inside the house the first night. After relocating them outside, we didn’t see them again. We loved seeing the stars at night and happened to be there for a meteor shower. The home is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed! »
