Pensions in Le Mont-Dore

'Sandra, with the aid of Google Translate made us feel welcome and at ease straight away. The cottage we stayed in was quirky, very clean and well-equipped including free WiFi. Local facilities aren't so good, you'll definitely need a car and the local beaches aren't ideal for swimming or snorkelling but there is a pool to lounge in and around. Noumea is about half an hour drive away and there are some museums and things to do there. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there...

'Really nice hotel with spa and pool. Parking on hotel site is no necessary as you can park on the street behind the hotel. Very nice and friendly personnel.'

'Everything I needed for a one night stay. Great shower & comfortable bed. Plus kitchenette with the essentials As a side although there is a washing machine & drier they is an extra charge to use it.'

'we stayed at the Ramada Noumea for 7x nights, the first night we decide to have dinner at the restaurant as our flight was a late arrival. unfortunately the restaurant was booked out... the staff could not recommond us an alternative place to go. The following day we decided to spend sometime at the hotel pool, we asked reception where do we get the pool towels, the manager handed us over 1x pool towel, I mentioned that there are 2 of us so could we have 2x towels please... his said that they...

'good location for the ferry and a clean hotel. A nice concept with the artwork. small but comfortable room.'

'The location is nice if you want to spend time in Noumea, but it is a longer drive to get out of the centre. During the weekends, there is a lot of noise from the surrounding area (bars), till 23:00 or even midnight. It was unclear at the time of booking, that there was no cleaning service offered. I was given 1 roll of toilet paper only! WiFi was free for only one day. Rubbish was not collected from the room. Much noise from the corridors. I had a cockroach in the room. The room itself was...
