  • Families and friends love this log cabin on a scenic route near Conkles Hollow in Ohio's Hocking Hills Outside: a firepit, grill, porch swing and hottub under string lights. Inside: a stone, wood-burning fireplace, vaulted ceiling with exposed log beams, wood floors, rustic furnishings. Well-equipped kitchen. Two full baths. Three bedrooms, with a total of 3 queen beds and 1 set of twin bunks, to sleep 8. Pet friendly (2 pet limit with $50+tax pet fee). Please note that our cabins that sleep 8 or more people have a minimum age requirement of 25.

The Oak Ridge cabin has plenty of room and beautiful real wood (cabin-y) details in a very secluded setting.The property was close to many sought after hiking trails (10-20 min drive), which was convenient. The pool access was about a 10 minute drive away, near the check in office. It was clean and offered bathrooms for changing out of bathing suits. Overall, we had a great stay at Oak Ridge!

Great cabin with everything we needed! Kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped and the hot tub was a nice feature. Some reviews mention that the fire pit it too close to the road but it has been moved to behind the house and was a nice set up with benches. We will stay here again when back in the area.

Perfect getaway

The listing was just as described and the overall check in process and check out process were very easy! The cabin is centrally located to majority of the major hiking trails and was perfect for our mini family vacation!

We had a great stay at the Oakridge cabin! It was extremely clean, beautiful, quiet, cozy, and a short drive to the park. We appreciated the phone call from the host a few hours prior to checking in to make sure we received the email with all the details, which we did.The hot tub was a very nice bonus, although it was still warming up on Friday night, and we weren't able to get in until about 10:30 p.m. We had no wi-fi access the entire weekend, but someone came out promptly and told us it was due to storms. If you plan to do much cooking, the kitchen utensils and pots/pans were a bit lacking. There were no large pots to boil water for spaghetti or make a pot of chili. Overall, it was a fantastic stay in a really nice, clean cabin. We would stay here again!

Excellent location

We really enjoyed this cabin. It was ready when we arrived to Hocking Hills and was equipped with everything we needed. The cabin was clean and so were the linens and kitchen equipment and towels.The location of this cabin is perfect, close to everything we wanted to experience. We felt very safe here as well. The hot tub was an added bonus.

Oakridge Cabin Hocking Hills

The location was perfect, away from the tourists centers of Logan and Old Man's Cave. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was just the right size. The Hot tub was wonderful after hiking all day. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great Location to Old Mans Cave

Cute Cabin clean loved the fireplace. The Lot isn’t very big the fire pit is in the driveway and you can hear the cars go by your right next to the road. Great for a short weekend getaway!!

Nice cottage in a great location

The location was perfect for us being in the middle of all of the sites we wanted to see. If you're looking for something a bit secluded, but still convenient to the park sites, this is a great choice. Overall the house was clean and as described. It would be nice if it was a little better stocked with kitchen tools as well as something besides card table chairs for use around the firepit.

Great week in Hocking Hills!

Our family really enjoyed staying in Oakridge. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The dryer works well but made a high pitched sound. Should be looked at. We would stay in Oakridge again!

Birthday Weekend Getaway

The property was secluded, which was what we were looking for! It's location in the woods offered a peaceful trip. The cabin was very clean and ready for our arrival. We loved the indoor fireplace and hot tub out on the deck. The check-in process was easy. Our two dogs loved the surrounding woods! Thank you for helping to make the perfect birthday weekend.

Was visiting for Moms weekend at OU

Property is in a convenient easy area to access Hocking Hills . It was about 50 minutes from OU . Even though it was a rainy flooding weekend we made the best of it .. lots of hiking and hot tub time . Played games around the dining table . Cabin was clean and comfortable . WiFi was practically non existent but that’s to be expected .. did not mind

Comfortable little cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Oakridge. The cabin was ready early and very clean. Having two bathrooms, washer and dryer and a dishwasher were awesome. The beds and living room furniture are showing signs of "age" but it did not hinder the enjoyment of the cabin. It is fairly close to the road, and although the road was not extremely busy the transmissions on the vehicles did wind up pretty loud climbing the hill. Overall we had a wonderful time. We would stay there again.

Nice getaway

The cabin is as described. No washer or dryer on grounds but they provided plenty of towels and washcloths. The hot water heater needs replaced. Goes cold mid shower multiple times during a 10 minute shower on the first person showering. It was a secluded property which is a plus. Only has folding chairs for the campfire and a porch swing. A few campfire chairs wouldnhave been nice. These are only minor complaints. When we called about the hot water heater, they came right out. We would stay again.

It was just okay. Oakridge Cabin

Pros: Kitchen was well equipped and had all we needed and hot tub was well maintained. Location was close to the road, but still felt private. Cons: Walked around barefoot our first evening and my feet were filthy, so the floors clearly weren't kept clean. We opened the kitchen window and couldn't get it closed again. We called twice for maintenance on the window as well as the fact that water started dripping through the kitchen light when the upstairs shower was used. No one ever came to attend to either, so we got a log of bugs in the cabin over the weekend and we had to switch the kitchen light off anytime anyone showered upstairs.

The amount of beds and rooms were great for our family. The stairway lighting was terrible. You could add battery lights to the stairs or landing. In the morning there was no light to turn on to see coming down the stairs. I fell, thankfully towards the bottom of the stairs on Monday morning. Not hurt just shook up. I would stay with this company again. They were courteous and helpful. Brought chairs right over for the fire pit. We as a family did enjoy our stay but would not choose this cabin again. Placement of fire pit was also concerning. The drop off was right there at the edge. Not good for children. I feel I need to be more aware of what I’m looking at when booking for a family. Again we did enjoy ourselves but not happy with the cabin.

Great Cabin!

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Oak Ridge cabin for a quick weekend getaway trip away from the children. The place was as described. We used the hot tub and the indoor wood burning fire place to stay warm and hear the pops/crackles. The hot tub was clean and perfect for chilly nights. The outdoor/indoor string lighting was a nice touch! Everything worked in the cabin and had adequate kitchen wear. Appliances appeared to be new. I wasn't sure what type of grill it had but a gas and charcoal grill were provided. The bathroom was supplied with adequate towels and soaps. Shower head water pressure was perfect. The outdoor fire pit was subpar but the indoor fireplace is more useful anyways. The cabin was secluded enough to have privacy. The cabin trip was too short and maybe next time the kids will stay with us. Great place and want to go back!
