'No Heat, No Host Communication and Awkward. We got lucky with check in that the daughter answered the door and let us in. We never saw the host. I thought this was more of a hotel or bed and breakfast than a room in someone's house as it was. We ordered a double room and it was three rooms on the third floor of the property (One being the daughter of the hosts room) and two rooms that we did stay in and a shared bathroom. The daughter did not share the bathroom but it was clear it was hers...

'A Márcia nos recebeu de forma excepcional e fez tudo o que era possível para tornar a nossa estada inesquecível. Os quartos foram maravilhosos, aconchegantes e nos transportaram em uma viagem no tempo. A localização é imbatível - dentro das muralhas e a poucos metros de todas as atrações da cidade. O hotel tem convênio com diversos restaurantes e cafés, além de entregar dicas valiosas de programação cultural na cidade. Recomendo enfaticamente e voltarei com certeza.'

'This is a beautiful historic palace and we loved being in the center of San Gimignano! The host was very helpful and accommodating of our party. When we booked we thought the apartment common area was part of the apartment but it is a shared space for the palace. '
