'Reaching the villa is an adventure, driving over a very steep but well drivable narrow road. If you rent a car (you do need a car!!) you should go for a diesel. We didn't. Our Nissan Micra made it barely through the hairpins in first gear. A diesel would have been much easier to drive. Once there you get an astonishing view over Almunecar, the hills and the sea. 'Incredible stay at this beautiful apartment. The photos don't do it justice. Beautiful views over the beach and the bay to Almunecar from a very good terrace. Really well equipped house. Fantastic for a two week stay. Nice shared pool just a few metres away. Twenty minute walk into La Herradura - hot but manageable. About 40 minutes to get to the marina - if you're fit. There is parking at the property but it is down a steep hill. Fine if you're a good driver and in a reliable car. Great...
