« We had a good week. The location was excellent and the cottage was comfortable. Although there is well equipped kitchen, there was no bread knife, which I would have expected. It was good to have a bath and shower but the electric shower above the bath was leaking down the wall so we didn't use. »

« Wonderful set up at The Lodge. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family break. All the mod cons, particularly liked the electric window blinds. Kitchen facilities was excellent and more than adequate. We also took our own coffee machine for that extra home comfort. Location was pretty central for the places we wanted to visit. Windermere was only 40 minutes away with stunning views of the country side on route. Hot Tube was a lovely touch and well maintainedAll in all a lovely break away...

« Charming 3-level cottage with very cosy tv-lounge on lowest level. Street-level entry is to the kitchen area and main bathroom and 2 bedrooms are upstairs. Freshly decorated and clean. Bigger cars will struggle navigating the tiny lanes to park outside the property; that said, a rather large builder's van working across the road had no trouble. Overall, very good. »

« The cottage by mode were very clean and spacious. However it was cold and uncomfortable in the mornings and evenings. No other form of heating in the lounge i.e a fire Beds uncomfortable because two singles pushed together which easily moved. Fix the heating and the beds and I would give it 5 stars »

« River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. Beds are well made and comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to hand soap. Highly recommend a stay here, it’s a shame we...

« This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...
