'On the 26th April 2025 Saturday afternoon, I went round Accra,looking for Peckan hotel's address at Nii Torgbor Avenue, East Legon Accra and I couldnt find the Str called Nii Torgbor avenue. I rang their mobile phone and it rang throughout with no answer. I got a bike man to take me round East Legon which we did and nobody knew where Pekan Hotel Accra was. We asked several people and not even one person knew Pekan Hotel. I decided to get into a big Restaurant to surf for another Hotels.com...

'The property is a fraud and the service atrocious as follows: The rooms: they are sold as deluxe with a balcony. No room (including executive room, which I upgraded to at great cost) had a balcony. A most dishonest bunch of characters. Cockroaches: the fridge was dirty. It was infested with cockroaches. The coffee machine in the room had dirt and dead cockroaches in the water cannister. 'The room was clean and big. The staff was very helpful and friendly.'

'There was no hot water in shower, and shower did not work so water did not come out of the top. No bedside light, as bedside lights were wired into the main light. Quality of the breakfast was not great. Cereal was stale, and only instant coffee. We chose the hotel partly because it had a gym and pool. But the 'gym' looked more like a storage room and had no air conditioning. The pool looked murky. Given these problems, the price was high.'
