'Old and very tired, in need of refurbishment. Three main things define a quality room - Plumbing, Pillows and Aircon, FAIL on all 3. You can hear other people's plumbing running. The pillows are thin cheap ones probably bought from Coles and the aircon was ineffective. Had to set it to 17C and flat out to even get the room down to a temperature where I wasn't sweating. Hardly slept and won't ever stay here again!'

'Room was nice and clean and very spacious. The apartment we had the lounge air con worked though the main bedroom turned on though didn’t have cold air and the spare room had no air con. Though the apartment was massive and very comfortable '

'We stayed in a standard king room 1 night and then the executive room for 3 nights. We had to check out and check back in. The stansard room was nice but small. Neither rooms had a dining area. When checking into second room they never moved the bags and the concierge was not very informative. The air con didn't work so after wasting about 4 hours had to move rooms. The executive lounge was great and the staff friendly but the executive room apart from a balcony was not that great. On our last...

'We had a lovely stay, bit of a confusion over the booking when we arrived, as we had clicked 'breakfast included' on expedia, but this wasn't. Alvin was fantastic and sorted out. Hotel is located about a 20 min walk or 5 mins on the tram to the centre. Tram stop is outside. Breakfast is awesome, loads of choices. Would definitely stay again.'

'Is based on busy intersection. I checked in on Saturday night. Very busy, lots of people noisey. Was right by lift. Clean room but lots of road noise and screaming from reverse bungy but is right in center of surfers so well placed. Pool looked grubby so didnt use. Staff were helpful and nice'

'Floor 21 tower B has a stink rubbish smell all the time, complaint to staff so many time but they send somebody spray perfume in the area and which only worked for 2 hours and again the same smell. Hopefully they will fix it permanently .'

'The motel is very rundown and over priced. The windows rattled all night. The Stairs up to our room look like they are ready to collapse. The room smelt like spices. The pictures on the website are very creative photography. Plaster wall patches behind every bed and the carpet is very old and dirty. We felt like leaving straight away. We are so disappointed with the accommodation as a family of five ( 2 adults and 3 children). I took pictures of everything.'
