The cabin itself was equipped with everything that we needed and was in a GREAT location to Lake George, West mountain and the surrounding area. It had plenty of space for our family of 3 and could have accommodated more! We had an amazing dinner at the Log Jam and enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake right out the front window. 'First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!'

The cabin was spotless, warm, and so inviting- even with freezing temperatures outside. 'The cabin was beautiful, lots of natural light. There was a snow storm the day we arrived and they had come and plowed the large drive the next night so we didnt need to shovel much. Everything was very clean and the host was very helpful and responsive! Would definitely stay again!'

'The house was adorable and clean, and the host was responsive and kind. Kitchen had everything we needed. My only caution would be that this house is definitely more for families/groups who won’t be spending a lot of time indoors. While there were plenty of comfy sleeping spaces, there wasn’t adequate seating for 6 of us to comfortably watch a movie in the evening. Besides that…a really great stay!'
