Authentic Hand Cut Log Cabin on a park-like 1.5 acre lot located inside the gates of Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure.  Located on a quiet private cul-de-sac, this updated home is just three minutes drive (or moderate walk) from the beach, restaurants, golf course, and other amenities.

Enjoy the stream side fire pit surrounded by outdoor swing and custom wood chairs while taking in the peace and solitude of the forest. The main level deck has comfortable porch swings in the front and the back, plus a gas grill, table, and several sitting areas.

Inside this four bedroom home are three levels with plenty of room for everyone.  The great room has a large stone fireplace, two reclining leather sofas, a new 51" television, cable, wireless internet, house phone with free long distance, and a Blu-Ray disc player.  The newly renovated kitchen is a great place for the whole family to gather.  The dining room is located just off the kitchen. Completing the main floor is a Master bedroom with a Queen bed, new TV, and a luxury spa bathroom with a stunning custom designed shower.  The second floor contains a loft bedroom with a Double and single bed, and a second Master with both a Queen and a single bed. The large bathroom, with a tub/shower combination, completes this level.

Real fun is awaiting you on the lower level which features a game room with a slate pool table (which can also be converted to a ping/pong table), a unique wagon wheel card table, a wet bar, and plenty of seating space to watch the large new flat screen TV equipped with video games and an arcade console with over 75 games.  The fourth bedroom has a Double bed and a futon, a third full newly remodeled bathroom, plus a laundry area with washer and dryer. 
 
CANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS. Requests must be in writing and received by a Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure rental agent. In the event Tenant must cancel this reservation more than 45 day prior to arrival, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of $50.00. Cancellations that occur within 45 to 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reservation charges. Cancellations which occur within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the amount of the reservation. NO refunds will be given for early departures or unused portions of packages.

HOUSEKEEPING SUPPLIES: There is a one-two day starter supply of items such as coffee packets, toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent (where appropriate), shampoo, and soap that has been supplied for your vacation rental. All towels, sheets, and linens are provided for the allowed occupancy number of each unit.  There is no housekeeping service provided during your stay. If you run out of any starter supplies, you many purchase these at Apple Valley Market or Ingles Grocery.
