Villa's in Lagunillas

'The main bed was small for two adults and the resort itself was a bit run down. The tennis courts and pool were not usable. The kitchen had a good supply of pans, utensils, and kitchen tools. The area itself was super quiet.'

'We had the best time ever in this gorgeous home. The views are amazing. We had coffee with toucans and macaws, evening visitors like coatimundis, and so many other birds. Stargazing was fun sitting by the pool at night. We loved jumping in the pool after a day of adventures, and even swimming in a pop up rain storm. We were able to easily travel down to Play Herradura and Jaco beach for activities and restaurants. Having the grill on the deck was great for when we just wanted to relax and...

'Beautiful property with an incredible view. The driveway is not for the faint-hearted, ensure you have a 4x4 capable vehicle and avoid coming after dark for your first night. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to make a couple meals at home. Our host Carlos was a extremely attentive and helpful throughout the stay. Would definitely come back some day!'

'Dome was very musty smelling with mold on lampshade, debris on bed and carpet/floor and no water pressure. Host was notified water had run out and mold/must and showed up to offer us to move to other dome. Once moved, the skylight in the larger 2 king bed dome had leaked and bed was soaking wet and standing water on the floor. Skylight was falling out of ceiling. TV remote was not in living room space. Clear window on dome was so dirty could not even see out of them. Would not recommend staying...

'Nothing about this stay was acceptable. If I could give less than one star, I would. 1. No hot water in the unit. 2. Kitchen was infested with ants and effectively unusable, forcing us to eat out. 3. Curtain rail in the bedroom was held together with duct tape and eventually fell down onto my children. 4.Beds were misrepresented in the listing. It advertised one King and two Queens; in reality, it was one Queen and two Double beds. 5. Only two towels were provided for four people....
