Negatief: Netheid, personeel en service, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
I was unfortunately disappointed with my stay at *La Casa del Camino*. The first night was extremely noisy — my room faced the street, and I could barely sleep due to constant traffic noise. The bed was also very uncomfortable, which made the night even worse. When I reported these issues, I was initially told that nothing could be done. Only after several hours did they finally move me to another room, which took away a significant amount of my limited vacation time.
I also noticed unexpected extra charges on my bill. The amount did not match what Expedia showed at booking, and I was charged additional fees that were never clearly explained. They claimed it was a resort fee, even though I had already paid a resort fee beforehand.
Another disappointing point was the rooftop area. Their website did not mention that the rooftop is closed Monday through Wednesday, so when I went up hoping to use it, it was unavailable.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. The experience was stressful rather than relaxing, and the staff’s attitude did not make the situation any better.
