Motels in La Mesa

'Unit was located at a busy street with many loud motorcycles as choppers and cars with extreme loud engines, as seems to be the culture in southern California. My sleep was interrupted many times because of this. At my request to relocate I only got an answer 4 days (and difficult nights) later. In the new unit the TV malfunctioned, the remote could only be used for changing the channel and not volume or even de-activate the TV. You had to do this with a button on the TV. TV itself did not work...

'It’s cheap for a reason but worth it. Save that $ for the scene just across the street. It’s a great location.'

'Terrible experience overall. The mattress smelled like urine, and the room had a strong cigarette smell. The stench was overwhelming, even with air fresheners. The parking area didn’t feel safe, and the entrance light switch didn’t work, so I had to walk into the dark room to find another switch. It was so uncomfortable that I had to leave at night and find another place to stay. I strongly do not recommend staying here'

'Room was clean but very small. Parking was $10 per night. Location was great. Walking distance to the beach and some restaurants'
