'This hotel had amazing staff, wonderfully stocked studio apt suite and a great location next to Balboa park and restaurants. We were on the 6th floor and the roof top and gym were above us. Our only complaint was the early morning noise on our ceiling starting at 5:45-6:30 am daily from above. Not sure if it was the gym or from construction up there or just people in the time share offices?? It was pretty hard to get a restful sleep with that early morning noise and the place was really great it...

'Great rooms for an excellent price. Yes, the area is busy and the vulnerable population is prevalent in the area. However the building is under key card lock 24/7 and the staff is very friendly. '

'The hotel had an old world charm, very 1920's Art Deco style. However the rooms were modern with lots of amenities, like a full kitchen in the standard studio room. Also a sofa/bed. The room on the 4th floor was quiet although there was considerable traffic in the area. There was a large rooftop space with great views of San Diego. You could also grill or barbecue. Overall, a wonderful experience staying in this hotel that I highly recommend. Sorry, no pool but it does have a small fitness...

"Over prized hotel. 800 dollars for two nights is not cheap. You expect the basics to be in order. Because there's nothing really special about this hotel that would justify a high price. My bathroom sink and bath drain were clothed. Showering means standing enkel deep in water. Going by the lines on the bath this is a long time problem. Also there was water on the floor near the toilet. On top of that they forgot to clean my room. And to top it of the wifi is terrible. What didn't make it better was the 180 dollor bill in the skybar where they only serve canned beer. Even though the beds were comfortable i would not recommend this hotel."

Goed hotel op mooie ligging.
"Mooi hotel met goede ligging aan de baai. Prima kamer, wel gehorig en kussens te hard. Lekker restaurant voor avondeten bij hotel. Parkeren dichtbij hotelkamer maar waarom betalen bij hotel 30 dollar per dag. "
