'We didn't spend much time in there but the time we did spend was wonderful. There was a few storms while we were there and it just added to the feel of the tin with the rain pouring on it. We went on the trails they had it was very nice.'

'The house is so warm and inviting...like home away from home. Very clean and comfortable. We liked the location, which is near the lake, on a quiet street of houses. Lake Barkley State Park is less than 2 miles away and Cadiz was only 7 miles. We loved the sun porch, where we spent a great deal of time in spite of the high temperatures.We appreciated the extra toiletries in each bathroom and ample kitchen necessities. We had a great stay here. We were happy!'

'If you are looking for a 5 star house this may not be your cup of tea. Although the house could use some maintenance the overall experience was great. Cleanliness was pretty good, like any place there are some detailed cleaning that could be done but couldn't my house too ;) Everything was clean and comfortable. Owner was excellent to work with and very quick to respond to any inquiries. We had a family gathering and there was plenty of chairs in the shade and yard for the kids to play in. The...

'This is a wonderful farmhouse surrounded by cornfields: all the peace and quiet you want, but within 15 minutes from whatever you need. The house was clean and well-equipped, and the hosts seem to have thought of every detail to make your stay a pleasant one. We also loved reading about the history of the house and its previous occupants! Great experience all around. '

'We recently stayed at this property and loved it! We had 6 kids and 5 adults. The house was beautifully decorated and spacious. It had everything you might need. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the bunk room. The downstairs area was a perfect area for them to hangout with a pool table and large TV. The deck was nice and easy to swim or fish from. 'The house itself was nice and worked out well for our family (5 adults and 2 children). It was nice and clean with plenty of space. There was lots of wildlife. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The roads to the house were not great (narrow and in poor condition with sharp corners and steep banks). I would not suggest pulling a boat or trailer to the house. There are steps down to the dock, but they are rough. The power at the dock had been damaged and did not work. ...
