Bien mais ancien hilton
Bon hôtel pour kuching . Un des meilleurs de la ville , mais c’est un hilton de l’ancien temps . Le deco de l’hotel et des chambres seraient à revoir ainsi que la piscine qui certe est agréable mais pas très jolie et les transats sont limités.Le petit déjeuner est bon et assez varié.

Séjour enchanteur mais le service pourrait être mi
Une semaine complète à Kuching pour visiter la ville et les environs dans un très grand confort. La piscine en fin de journée est très appréciable. Dommage néanmoins que le service ne soit pas à la hauteur attendue. Par exemple, malgré une de ma de quotidienne, la clim était toujours remise à fond. De plus, alors que l'hôtel était loin d'être plein, nous avions tous les soirs de nouveaux voisins dans la chambre mitoyenne avec du bruit. Le wifi est payant si on n'est pas membre.

Nous avons eu la bonne surprise d'être surclassés dés notre arrivée, bénéficiant ainsi d'une suite pour ces 3 nuits. Confort et espace.... Seul problème: une tuyauterie bruyante, les douches tardives ou matinales des chambres au-dessus perturbant le sommeil.

Bon hôtel pour un séjour à Kuching
Bon hôtel très bien placé. Demander de préférence les chambres avec vue sur la rivière. Buffet de petit déjeuner copieux et service excellent et souriant. L'hôtel est un peu vieillot, mais il est très propre et les prix sont raisonnables. Il n'y a pas vraiment mieux sur Kuching. Avions réservé au Rainee Boutique hotel, mais annulé au dernier moment car ils nous demandaient une nuitée entière pour un late check out (17h), ridicule ! Si vous avez besoin d'une voiture pour une balade dans la jungle, négociez directement avec un taxi à l'heure (30rm pour un taxi bleu), les hotels vous demanderont beaucoup plus.

situation idéale à kuching
j ai passé un séjour très agréable dans cet hotel, il est idéalement situé au bord de la rivière sarawak, j avais une chambre donnant sur la rivière et c'était superbe quelle que soit l'heure du jour ou de la nuit.

Bon rapport qualité/prix, mais ambiance "vieillotte"
The hotel is perfectly located on the waterfront, has 4 restaurants, a nice lounge bar, nice pool and overall service is great.Travel agent is within the hotel and provides excursion for Borneo at a competitive pricing. I had a room on the 7th floor, spacy and with a river view which was great. The room was nice, but the equipment and furniture a bit old-fashioned, and no flat screen tv ("old" tv set within a cabinet). The bathroom is not lit enough. Plumbing is very noisy (you litteraly hear when people use the bathroom and just turn on the faucet). Apart from this, the buffets (breakfast or dinner) are excellent ; the steackhouse restaurant is great, though a bit expensive for alcohol. The service is also very friendly but please be aware the english level is a bit inferior compared to Kuala Lumpur for example.

L'endroit idéal pour séjourner à Kuala Lumpur
Accueil et service Excellents. Personnel très attentif et souriant. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien équpées. Demander une chambre avec vue sur le Lake Garden. Plusieurs restaurants à la cuisine variée et très fraîche. Hôtel idéalement situé près de la gare KL Sentral et du monorail desservant tous les points intéressants de la ville (accès à pied au Lake Garden en 10 minutes).

Great breakfast buffet. The airconditioning in my room needs servicing - I turned it to 18 and it was still warm. I therefore did not sleep well. Shame the Riverview café had tinted windows, which prevented one from looking out onto the lovely river view outside. Overall, the hotel was dark and it did not give one a welcoming feeling.

Started off lovely. Room nice and freshly renovated. A little noisy as work was still being completed. Breakfast was ok. Went down hill the night we had dinner at the hotel. It was a wagyu night. I have never in my life seen anything so bad. Unsure how they even managed to make the meat so wrong. Topped off by the staff bringing the wrong bottle of wine three times. And once looking it up the wine was $9.00 online and the Hilton charged us $150 AUD The dinner was beyond the worst food I have ever eaten. Beyond disappointed.

Should close down the hotel
The hotel is undergoing major renovations. They were unable to fix the phone in my room though I stayed 4 nights. Only one or 2 lifts were working leading to long waits . The swimming pool had no attendant to direct me to the showers

The hotel is pretty old school, so 5-star for certain utilities is much suited 15 years ago. TV is old, please bring your tablets. I love the lift buttons and displays which is pretty much 60s-70s? Please keep or refurbish them (not replace), it’s like a charm in “blast from the past”! Cleanliness and comfort is generally excellent. Services and front desk staff knowledge is very accommodative. We got recommendations and bookings over the counter for interesting signature sight-seeings. Maybe there could be a dedicated information counter in the future just for local tourism, cultural habits and amenities? Because Sarawak is so big and interesting and there’s is much things to learn and understand. Breakfast buffet is a good variation: look out for “today’s special”. Abundant in choices to start your mood of the day. The Indian Dosai/Tosai is not so fresh. It should just display one piece instead of taking from display, and make a fresh one upon request - it’s best when eaten fresh. The quality of sushi rice is not so good, but taste is ok. Maybe the chef could make series of California Maki instead to balance a richer palate over the lower quality of Japanese rice (I know good quality sushi rice is difficult to source). Compared to West Malaysia, the tone and language in Sarawak is much humble and gentle. Not rowdy and much less arrogant. These people from Dayaks background deserves much more respect than we thought.

In room dining - no one picked up the call even at around 9 PM. Tried many times in vain. The hotel looks rundown and the front door latch wasalmost coming off. Not the Hilton class of hotel.
