'Haven in the hills. Loved our stay at Windermere, a thoughtfully curated property with a a focus on nature. 'Hotel itself is up a very steep hill and a bit far from Munnar, only suitable if you have a driver. The staff are what make this hotel and the views. The hotel itself is quite noisy as the rooms are around an atrium and not we’ll sound proof. We were unfortunate to stay when a large Indian family were also visiting and they were extremely noisy going between rooms and shouting in the corridor/atrium. The staff moved our room and helped as best they could.'

'This place was just ok for a hotel in India. It’s so far up a mountain that access to outside food and drivers are slim, so you are at the hotel’s mercy for pretty much anything. The balcony was nice and so was the view. No ac in this hotel, and no mosquito nets. There was a really old plug in fan in the room though and it didn’t really fit well with the rest of the room.
