We really enjoyed all the space for family time! The large kitchen/dining area and living room were great for us to gather and play games together. We didnât cook but the kitchen was well stocked. If you like coffee there are 3 machines to choose from! The backyard was large but unfortunately not fully fenced for our dog, and the outdoor furniture was less than desirable. there was nothing to start a fire with in the pit. The grills were also less than desirable. One needs to be hauled off and the other needs to be cleaned. The 3 bedrooms with king/queen beds were great but the 4th bedroom we planned to use was nothing more than a small closet. In fact it was smaller than the closets in the two upstairs bedrooms and should not be listed as a 4th bedroom. Itâs essentially only useful for a small child.
This house worked out wonderfully for our familyâs visit to Knoxville. We needed to be close to downtown on a daily basis and it was a quick drive from this neighborhood just south of the city with some great restaurants and retail just around the corner. The neighborhood also was quiet and we felt safe. We brought our dog with us And the fenced in yard was great however, please be aware that the ends of the fence are open, so we had to find a way to block those off when the dog was out in the yard. The beds were really comfortable, and the house was clean and nicely decorated. The use of a washing machine really helped and the property manager could not have been more accommodating. She helped us at every turn. Highly recommend this house.
We were in Knoxville to be with family and Urban Island was fantastic. You will understand the name of the house when you arrive bc it really is on an island of land! Very nice house with everything you could need. We had a dog we lost a few days before our arrival and the ownerâs brought flowers and a dog toy for our other dog. Was really very nice of them! We will definitely be back!
4 nights, convenient neighborhood in South Knoxville, close to restaurants and bars by an easy walk. Area is up and coming and has an exciting vibe. Home is spacious and well-appointed. Owners were polite and easy to communicate with. Overall, a pleasant stay!
We loved the location as the neighborhood was very quiet and was close to where we needed to be. The home was very clean and communication with the property manager was excellent.
Cute home that was great for our weekend get away. Comfortable beds! Yard was fenced but not fully enclosed. Great little enclosed area overlooking the backyard.
We loved this house and location for our stay for UT game and visit with our students. Would highly recommend. I wished we had a car while there because the Ubers added up but otherwise definitely perfect for us! (Two families, 9 people total)
Stayed for four days. Great house. Close to everything you would want to do in Knoxville. House is clean and well stocked. One small thing: the backyard is fantastic but if you have dogs keep in mind that the fence has two opening that are not gated. We blocked them with lawn furniture and that worked fine for us.
We had a great stay. The house is convenient to local shopping and restaurants. The home was well decorated and furnished. The owners ensure we had everything we needed and were very attentive. We will stay there again if we are in the area.
Stayed for a short weekend trip with our wife and dogs. The house was beautiful, clean, and the location was great. Less than 10 minutes away from most of the things we wanted to do downtown. The fenced backyard was great to just hang out with the dogs. There are two walkways out of the backyard which meant we had to keep close eye on our dogs in the backyard. Our pug was also able to sneak under the fence in the backyard in one spot. But overall a GREAT stay. Would absolutely stay there again.
We had no difficulty finding the house and it was just like the pictures. We weren't actually at the house very much since we were so active with a wedding. The only cooking we did was one breakfast and unfortunately the oven wasn't working properly. We informed Mike about it and I'm sure he took care of it promptly. The house was very clean and we were all very happy with it.
The house was very clean and well stocked with towels, paper goods and kitchen supplies.
It is as the name infers an Urban Island as the house is surrounded by streets on all sides.
We enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at Urban Island in between our move! It was so clean, conveniently located, and has everything you need! It even has a full washer and dryer. We will definitely rent again when we come to town! Thanks!
A great house, well decorated, comfortable beds. A bit of road noise, bring your earplugs. TV's in upstairs BR and living room, netflix already loaded. Kitchen has everything you could want. Great outside area for meals and gathering. Upstairs add on rooms get a bit warm, keep closet doors closed and run fan on high and you will be fine at night.
My family and I stayed here for a weekend in November, the host went above and beyond communicating before our arrival. Check in was easy, and the house was clean and had a mid century modern aesthetic. It was cold while we were there but the heat worked great! The bedrooms were comfortable and nice sized. Would definitely stay there again if I were in Knoxville!
From reservation to check out, the host was very responsive and helpful. Great location, perfect layout, and all the stuff you need to enjoy your time with the family.
Our three adult children joined us for our visit to Knoxville. The house had what each person needed with plenty of space for everyone. Even when people where up and moving, it was quite in the bedrooms.
Easy access to downtown and campus. While we were out and about the 48 hours we were there, everyone agreed that we needed one more day just to hang around the house with each other.
Plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, etc. The kitchen would be great if you were cooking, but we relied on nearby restaurants instead.
Everyone agreed that we would return to this house when we are back in Knoxville. Do not hesitate to book if you are considering staying here. Much better than the downtown hotels for a game weekend.
