Our family stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The lake house was comfortable, welcoming, and perfect for spending quality time together. The space met our needs very well and allowed everyone to relax and enjoy being together. Great Summer Getaway

The large kitchen/great room, large screened-in porch and dock with water slide made this stay a perfect summer getaway to spend with family! There were even a few games and coloring books and supplies that saved the day during those summer pop-up showers!

Disappointing

Even though my review is not positive, I do want to stress the good communication and responsiveness from one of the owners when we checked in and found two or three of the vertical blind slats broken and lying in the floor. The biggest issues we had were the bugs and overall lack of cleanliness. Entryway closet door was broken and fell off while we were there. The door to washer would not close. Dead and live bugs were around the baseboards and window sills. Everyday I killed numerous centipedes, black ants, worms, earwigs, spiders and rolly pollys. We found a pill/capsule in the master bedroom floor. Spider webs/dust webs were at the doorways outside and the outdoor furniture in the screened in porch had a lot of pollen and dead leaves on it. We swept it off but never used it because it was so dirty. There were two beer cans being used for ash trays on the table on the screened in porch. I threw them away and swept off the ashes. The inside top of the microwave appears to be burnt or rusted or something which we asked if it was safe to use and were told it worked fine. We didn’t use it. Water collects in fridge drawers. A leg to a dining room chair fell off when we pulled out the chair to sit down. We were in town for a family reunion that I was coordinating and would have found another place to stay after I realized how unclean and unsafe the house was, but I couldn’t find anything that would accommodate 6 adults and a toddler on such short notice.

Perfect family gathering area

My and family and I had an amazing and comfortable stay at this location. Lots of space, open areas, great views, and plenty of peace and quiet far away from the highway and traffic. Gentle breezes blow through the screened porch, and all appliances work as expected.The walkway to the lake was excessively steep and dangerous, and did not provide access to the shore, use caution.Tvs in all family areas was very nice, especially the one on the porch.Wonderful stay, thanks!

Cozy Christmas stay

The house was perfect for our stay, with two separate living spaces (upstairs and down), spacious kitchen and open floor plan and the views! Sunrises over the lake and an awesome screened porch. We will stay here again! The hosts were kind to decorate with a tree and other Christmas decor.

Home Away From Home

What a beautiful home on Ft. Patrick Henry Lake! Extremely spacious, clean, and accommodating. All the upgrades are so fresh and well done. The pictures do not do this place justice! All the rooms and areas are much larger and allow great space for spreading out and feeling organized. The closet space is an extra addition! All the beds were very cozy and comfortable! We loved the board games and playing in the open living room and on big dining table with our family. Also, the new screened in porch was soooo beautiful and offered the best view of the lake! The kitchen was perfectly modeled for ease of cooking and all the things you needed from making a cup of coffee to a full meal were provided. It was great to have a washer a dryer as well to do laundry before heading home. If you forgot any toiletries or home supplies, it was no issue as the renters provided everything onsite. This home was perfect for every age, from newborn to 60+! Lastly, the checkin and checkout process Was super simple and working with the host was really easy. They were wonderful! We cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful lake views

We loved our stay here… enough room for everyone… open and airy the views were amazing even with 2 days of foggy morning… neighborhood was really nice and quiet we saw deers everyday and even saw a turkey !! We will be returning for sure !! Didn’t have time to fish but hope to next visit … on way there because of storm they were under boil water advisory so the manager made a special trip and had waters there for us when we got there!!

Amazing Stay

We had 5 adults and a 3 year old. Everyone fit comfortably and enjoyed their space. We all enjoyed the screened in deck overlooking the lake. It was a great stay and we how to be back next year to enjoy it again.

My team and I enjoyed our time. "Our stay at Dan’s place was exceptional! The lake house was exactly as pictured - clean, stylish, and comfortable. The location was perfect, quiet and peaceful within a short driving distance to everything you need. Dan was an outstanding host. He was quick to respond to messages and provided excellent local recommendations. The check-in process was smooth, and seamless The amenities were top-notch. The kitchen was well-equipped, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We especially loved "the screened in porch with a stunning Lake view" We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kingsport TN

Perfect location

My family absolutely loved this house for our week long vacation. Its proximity to Warriors was perfect. We enjoyed hiking at Devil’s backbone, kayaking, and a round of golf. The house itself was beautifully decorated and maintained. We will certainly be back again.

Very nice lakeside getaway

Comfortable, updated accommodations. Quiet neighborhood. The screened in deck was great! Perfect spot for morning coffee. Had two comfortable cushioned chairs, a couch, a ceiling fan and a TV. However, there were no TVs in the bedrooms. The host, Heather, was wonderful to work with. I would definitely stay there again.
