'Owner was very responsive to questions. All info was laid out ahead of time and also in a small binder. The whole place was labeled for our benefit. Beds were comfortable. 2nd floor bedrooms did get hot at night because of having an infant the door needed to be shut, otherwise very comfortable for our end of July early August stay. 'Great location for an Elk Lake/Torch Lake vacation! Rustic cabin was as listed - cabin was clean and well-kept for an older cabin. The location on the lake is great and the provided mooring buoy was perfect for a pontoon. The shore entry is a rock wall, which could be a bit challenging for smaller children or people with mobility challenges. This cabin gives you great proximity to Elk Rapids and Torch Lake. Check-in/Check-out was easy and instructions from host were clear. '
