Located at the northern tip of Lake Tahoe, just west of the Nevada state border, Kings Beach is a beloved destination known for its outstanding public beach, relaxed atmosphere, and convenient access to mountain resorts. The North Tahoe Event Center frequently hosts festivals, concerts, and community events, while downtown Kings Beach offers year-round shopping and dining options.
Kings Beach State Recreation Area is the premier beach site in North Tahoe. With a 1,700-foot lakefront stretch, it is the largest public access sandy beach on the North Shore. The south-facing aspect and gradually deepening lake floor make it one of the warmest swimming areas on the lake. Visitors can enjoy a playground overlooking the water, barbecue and picnic areas, and popular water sports like paddleboarding, kayaking, and jet skiing, with rental shops nearby. 2. Parking for 1 vehicle in the driveway. Garage can fit 1 small car. Street parking is prohibited year round.
3. This section of the lake, especially in summer, requires strict adherence to public parking rules to access Speedboat Beach.
4. Fenced yard is seasonal/ summer only. Access gates to fenced backyard on on sides of home and will not be shoveled during winter months for guest access.
5. The use of ANY outdoor firepit or outdoor fireplace is strictly prohibited at all our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our community safe from wildfires.
