'This is my idea of a very basic needs hotel, but perfect for a short stay at a very reasonable cost. Free coffee/tea in the lobby from 7: to 23:00. Only a 5 minute walk to Ikebukuro Station West entrance. Would definitely stay here again.'

'My husband and I stayed for about 10 days for our honeymoon and the staff were so kind each day. The room premium room was very spacious and I adored hearing the train go by while taking a bath each night. The bed and pillow were a bit too firm for our liking, but we still slept great! It’s in a perfect location by Oji Station with multiple buses and trains. There’s konbini nearby and a Starbucks too if you want to have a little coffee. I recommend getting one and sitting under the cherry...

'The hotel is so clean. Our room was comfortable but not very big. They may have larger rooms, we booked one with two twin beds. It was nice that there was a mini fridge. Walking to Sunshine City Mall was quick and easy. Actually, it was easy to walk pretty much everywhere. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly polite and helpful. We didn't add the breakfast buffet when we booked our rooms because we weren't sure if we would use it. It was quick to go to the desk and purchase tickets....

'Perfect location for Ikebukuro, central but out of the main area. Very walkable and well placed for walking in several directions. Yamanote line was easily accessible. Lots of dining options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. 7-11 underneath was very convenient for grabbing a snack when leaving or returning!'
